Description: The diversity of fighting environments in the galaxy leave much to be desired in armour camouflage. Normally armour was painted and designed to blend in with common terrains but the accuracy and tediousness has resulted in expensive and otherwise inefficient designs. When your campaign takes you through jungles, deserts, and tundra all within months of each other it's clear that a more viable solution must be found. Utilizing photoreactive fiber technology, The Primeval have developed a somewhat stealth armour that can easily and accurately blend into the environment without power requirements or precious resources. Although this does not mask heat signatures or dampen noise, it does provide visual camouflage and at a very effective level.

Constructed with mostly standard materials, this medium armor sits in the middle in terms of defensive quality and offers no more or less stopping power than typical battle armour. The difference is that it provides an added edge to scouting parties, infiltration teams, and elite infantry units looking to drop in behind enemy lines. Of course production is slightly limited due to the process in which the armour is made and the narrower scope of applications for such armour.

Strengths:
  • Stealth: Can blend in with any surrounding environment so long as there's a sufficient light source.
  • Standard: It has all the usual bits and pieces, not missing anything found in battle armour.
Weaknesses:
  • Wear & tear: Scratches, dents, and other wear will tear out the embedded fibers required for its camouflage.
  • Complicated: It's somewhat complicated to make meaning less production series and thus limiting this to specialists rather than divisions or armies.
