Description: The MIFV is an all-purpose infantry fighting vehicle for use on various terrains and in an almost any combat situation. As far as vehicles go the MIFV is somewhat basic in that it relies on simpler technology than most combat vehicles. Able to carry up to six people and manned by 3, the vehicle meets the standards of most personnel carriers and with a speed of 96km/h it can keep up to pace as well. Its only drawback is that despite having a mass-driver turret and anti-missile turret there's no true anti-infantry weapons of any kind on the vehicle. Although the main gun can kill someone who's in its path, it has a low rate of fire and lacks pinpoint accuracy.

Perhaps the most advanced feature are the micro-thrusters which can be used when stuck in place or navigating difficult terrain. The amount of thrust produced is limited to 3 meters and can prove dangerous to the vehicle if not used carefully, thus it's not meant to be used in the heat of combat. Rather than using a standard point-defense turret, the MIFV uses a COIL turret which fires laser that cannot be seen by the naked eye. Whilst the COIL can disable enemy missiles, it cannot destroy enemy aircraft.

Strengths:
  • Balanced.
  • Quick for its size.
  • Micro-thrusters.
Weaknesses:
  • It's not amphibious.
  • Lacks anti-infantry weapons.

x1 anti-missile COIL turret
Although a variation exists in the real world, I will need to see this placed in its own submission prior to use here (unless you know of a canon or already approved version) to both flesh out the weapon and to ensure all strengths and weaknesses are addressed.
