Pridon Nozadze
Pridon was born on Concord Dawn to clanless parents in the year eight o' seven, ABY. As a boy, he would wander the planet's vast jungles, setting traps to catch the odd creature, (often times rabbits.) He would always come back to his parents' vheh'yaim with furs on his back, bones hanging from a chain, and meat in his belly. Before long, his parents only saw him when he returned to drop off what he could not carry.
After he came of age, Pridon joined the Mandalorian campaigns as a scout. It was not exactly the most glorious post, but it was one that he was well suited for. Pridon not only guided his troop’s movements, he also set traps against their opponents, calling on the skills he learned as a child. His abilities were greatly appreciated by the Mandalorian Command, who gave him the rank of Alor'uus for his valued service.
After his tour of duty, he found himself at a loss of what to do. Bounty Hunting and Mercenary work were honorable vocations, but not suited to his particular talents and taste. Undecided, he drifted about, now and then working as a scout for private contractors, until he discovered what he felt was the ideal job. It was something he was already suited for, what he’d been doing most of his life but not professionally; Game Hunting.
It was difficult at first, contrary to popular belief; you can’t just pick up a gun and make a name for yourself. You need to make connections and keep an ear to the ground if you expect to get wind of any good prey. Add to that, most Hunters don’t share potential kills with just any new blood that comes along. You have to earn their trust and respect, or their fear.
In his case, it was obviously the latter.
His career came to a head when he killed Zallwarr the Wookie, a well known hunter, and competitor of his, in a week long duel in the Shadowlands of Kashyyyk. They had both come there seeking the Tenterak that old legends spoke of, and when they found out that they were both hunting the same creature they both elected to kill each other rather then have interference with their hunt. The duel finally ended with Zallwarr's demise, the Wookie having unwittingly fallen into one of Pridon's traps. Unfortunately, the Tenterak was either already dead or a hoax as Pridon could find no trace of him. He didn't leave empty handed though, taking Zallwarr's braids as proof of his kill
He came back to civilization, bringing with him no small amount of infamy. Hunters killing each other was nothing new, but Zallwarr had a reputation for being one of the most skilled and deadliest hunters in the business. His death was shocking, and the fact that his killer openly wore a trophy from his fallen body was even more so. Most of his coworkers now either avoided him out of fear, or gravitated to him, hoping some of his skill or luck would rub off on them.
So with fame came a price to the solitary Pridon. Now, some young guns looking to make a name for themselves sought to kill him. And some more… seedier folk wanted him as a Bounty Hunter or Assassin. He wanted none of it. He just wanted to hunt beasts and only if the Mandalore himself wanted his blade would he deviate from that. After the frustration of dealing wth it for several months he decided to return to retire to his homeworld; Concord Dawn.
Since his departure, his parents had died and their home had veritably disintegrated into the dirt. Undaunted, he rebuilt it, and made it as close as possible to the original structure. And there he stays, still dreaming glory like any other Mandalorian, but resigning himself to avoid the machinations of the galaxy.
But something is stirring, he can feel it in his bones, and he might have to rise from obscurity to hunt again.
Personality
Pridon is a quiet man who prefers the calmness of the forest to the bustle of city life. On first meeting Pridon some think him a mute, for he speaks only if necessary and even then, very little. When he does it is in short concise sentences, just enough to get his point across. Unlike other Mandalorians, he is antisocial, and avoids civilization when he can. He believes that wandering about the wilderness is preferable to anything the settlements have to offer.
Pridon is Mandalorian, through and through. He lives according to the Resol'nare and will most likely die by it. Saying he is a model Mandalorian would be a bit of a stretch, but he likes to think he's doing his part in his own way. Outside of the battlefield Pridon conducts himself honorably by Mandalorian standards, keeping his word, honoring his debts, and helping when able. In the battlefield? He is renowned for his brutality, often times mortally wounding his opponents and letting them die a slow death.
