Port Corinth
Cinnagar

If Coruscant was silver, Teta was gold. Gold and brick. Green marble and polished white stone. Durasteel threaded through and a checkered Turkish Arch. The old meets the new. The old world is reborn. Woven together by the cultural mind to create something truly and marvelously fantastic. This was Cinnagar. Tall white castles, green fields, and a taste for authentic architecture. A core world of wealth and power. And trade.

Trade was the life blood of the people. The lifestyle of Port Corinth, Cinnagar. It was a white city. Built off the coast and just into the gentle sea. A white city that rested easily on the red stone that spired forth from the blue ocean. Hard stone. Solid stone. Rugged and tough. Shouldered easily beneath the cool shade of the great white city above. A majestic castle. A majestic view. And, with even more fanciful and majestic transportation.

Boats. Not the air speeders or the seldom noted flying freighters. No. Terrestrial mounts. Ocean ferries. Ships of all kinds. Some with white sails and others with chrome bows. Beautiful and tall. Lining the outer-most docks with a whole cities-worth of trade and transport. Surrounding the white castles with wealth and with pride. And it was here that our story begins. Underneath the white canvas sails of the mighty sailing ships of the present...

"...Shauna! Ha ha! Hey girl! Look who's arrived!"

"Testimony! Hey! Welcome welcome. Oh my gosh! It is so good to see you. Come here and give me a hug."

The two women leapt up the gangway into a happy embrace. Tightly squeezing one another amidst the bright afternoon bustle of day.

"Oh my gosh. Just look at you. Welcome cousin. Welcome to Teta."

"And you Shauna! Hehe. My goodness. Look at you. Every bit the adventurer already."

Adventurer was right. But for which one? Testimony Jones stood in awe. Clothed in her white garments and fashioned with a songsteel blade at her side. A beautiful and virtuous warrior woman. Shauna Fritz, her cousin, beaming a smile in return. Shifting her strong red leather hips in youthful style. She tugged at the gun-harness across her chest and jostled the rifle against her back. Letting her short blonde hair flutter in the breeze. A natural soldier and beauty. Ah yes. Adventurers indeed.

"...Who is this young man you've brought with you Testimony? I don't remember you joining the Jedi with a young male in tow?"

"Oh this is Jacen, cousin. Jacen! Jacen! Leave that poor horse alone and come over here. Meet Shauna. The women I've been telling you about."

"Coming!" He shouted over the din of the sea-side stalls.

Jacen Truth was near the age of Testimony. A Jedi completely, but a fashionable traveler. Brown and red leathers with metal cuffed accessories. He was more of a Librarian than a warrior. And that showed as he hazarded to push through the crowd. His brown hair ducking and dodging after him.

"Shauna. This is Jacen Truth. My assistant."

"Hello Jacen. I'm Shauna. And I'll be your Guild contact for the space of our adventure."

"Wonderful to meet you Shauna. Jacen Truth. At your service."

They shook hands and were introduced. Escaping the gangplank and retreating to the shade of the nearby Port Commons.

"Well. I should thank you two for coming. It's not often we get real Adepts joining the Guild. I expect your first assignment will go smoothly. Here. Let's stop in at Thomas' and see who else showed up for the Hunting Gig. With any luck? There are still a few fighters out there looking to make some coin."

The happy trio ducked into a spacous and jovial sea-side tavern for a moment. The Windy Still. A Hub of the sea-side lifestyle. After all? Their adventure was about to begin.

Davin sat inside of The Windy Still's tavern in a back corner with a large grin. These people didn't seem to understand how to properly play a game of Pazaak without losing everything they owned. The banker across from him was down to betting his wedding ring and quite possibly the deed to his home. The big man to his left was growing edgy, quick violent motions, the eyes.

He wore a black spacer cap with a silver SR-4 crossed over a silver SR-26 as an insignia, black cargo trousers, tucked into black combat boots, a collared white shirt with the sleeves rolled up underneath a black combat vest, and last of all two large slugthrower revolvers, one on each hip. He'd only recently retired from the Republic Army.

The man had a comical blonde handlebar mustache that seemed to twitch every time he lost another credit. His rage grew to a boiling point when Davin laughed after the man lost a terrible gamble. Davin let his hand rest on his large caliber slugthrower revolver holstered on his right hip as the man stood and flung a large smelly cigar aside to begin a rage filled rant. Davin let him shout and gesture for a time before he began to grow annoyed.

"Well if your mother hadn't raised such a karking idiot maybe I wouldn't have all your credits you ignorant sow." Davin said with a grin.

The man flipped the Pazaak table and as he did so Davin brought his revolver neatly under the man's chin in a quick motion. The large man froze in fear and lost all of the rage that had created the volatile situation. His blue eyes grew as Davin pulled the hammer back.

"I'm curious, what do you do for a living sow?" Davin asked in an abnormally nice tone.

The man looked confused, he was sure his head was about to get blown off.

"A- Banker." The man said looking nervously at the currently cowering banker.

"Honesty is a virtue that will keep you alive, friend." Davin said as he shoved the muzzle painfully under his chin.

"I-I- I'm a slaver." The man managed to stutter out, appearing to be on the verge of tears.

"Ah good. I believe we can be friends." Davin said with a laugh, lowering the revolver's hammer and reholstering it. The large man had a look of relief so profound that it would have won a Galy if he'd been an actor. The man joined in on the laugh nervously as Davin put his hand on the slaver's shoulder.

Imagine the slaver's brief moment of clarity before Davin's hand forced his head into the side of the upturned table and blackness edged over his vision.

"Idiot." Davin said as he took the man's creds and drug him to the nearest window before unlatching it and hoisting him out of the open window and into the sea. He brushed off his vest and approached the stunned looking bartender.

"A round of drinks for everyone!" Davin said loudly. "Courtesy of the former dealer of flesh."

The onlookers cheered loudly.

He took a Mandalorian Ale and opened it up on the edge of the counter, black spacer cap brimmed low over his eyes as he drank.

"Well that was interesting?" Shauna quipped. She was rather impressed with the spectacle.

"Friend of yours Shauna?" Testimony asked with a curious wave.

"Nope. He's not one of mine. But finding a slaver in the Deep Core is quite the treasure trove. One in a million. He'll have a few credits to spend indeed."

The girl's smirked and Jacen rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. Inquiring himself,

"So? ...Is this where our hunt begins?"

"Indeed Master Truth. Allow me a moment in the backroom to gather my things. When I get back we can look over the map and begin."

Shauna gave the young man a happy wink and retreated to the secret backrooms. Testimony approached Davin to congratulate him. Her amazonian smirk was easy to see, though she assumed he was a local.

"Nicely done Lawbringer. That was some show. What Guild do you hail from? You have the look of a Hunter yourself."

Davin grinned as the woman congratulated him.

"Well I suppose I'd hail from the Omega guild, if it was called such. And before that the Republic guild. How about yourself Jedi? As it's painfully obvious what you are from how your friend is dressed and from your demeanor." Davin said as he sipped on his drink.

It was curious, the three of them traveling. From Davin's experiance young force users traveling with who appeared to be a local bounty hunter spelled trouble for everyone involved.

Testimony smiled at his response,

"Hehe. I see. Well? Congrats on your collar. Cinnagar needs as many good men as she can get."

Jacen raised an eyebrow but quickly shrugged it off. He wasn't feeling very social, I suppose. Shauna reappeared and waved the duo over to her table on the balcony. It was time to consult the map.

"Anyway. My friend and I are off on a Hunt of our own. Good luck in all your travels Lawbringer. May the Force guide you."

She gave him a quick nod before waving Jacen forward. Together they ascended the stairs to rejoin Shauna on the balcony. The Guild Woman seemed curious as they approached,

"So? Did you invite him along?"

Testimony seemed shocked,

"Oh? Oh no. I just wanted to congratulate him? ...Are we looking to hire more help?"

"Another bold hand never hurts. Still. Take a seat you two. I've borrowed the map from the backroom. Let's take a look shall we?"

The trio gathered close to gaze at the map. Though, Testimony glanced back in Davin's direction. Perhaps they should think to give Guild Omega a chance.
