Classification: Sith Trading port, Urban center

Location: Ch'hodos

Points of Interest:

Riftsinger Temple
  • A great stone spire has been erected in the central part of town. This temple is dedicated to the Primeval god, Nogras, the Tongue and Aspect of Light. This tower serves as the temple of the followers of Nogras, the Riftsingers, arguably the most peaceful of all three Primeval sects. While not the focus of its design, the large, sturdy building could possibly act as a somewhat decent citadel in the case of an emergency or attack. On its spire rests a statue of the late Host Lord, Anja Aj'Rou. The beautiful piece of architecture, however, is not the only temple dedicated to the Primeval gods but none are as large or as impressive.

Shantytown
  • The eastern part of town is home to a majority of the population that has come to call this place home. Whether they be the homes of those umbarans stuck in the lower castes, merchants and traders down on their luck, simple workers, immigrants, or refugees. This part of the city is home to a host of colorful characters, many more malicious than others. A Gulandi gang has recently risen up here. They call themselves K'pak-Tul, and they have begun to take control of the city's underbelly. Law enforcement can often be seen patrolling here, making frequent, unsolicited searches of homes and persons.

Ughad Palace
  • The western end of town is dotted with relatively large mansions and estates. These are reserved for the recently-installed council of Rootai and planetary government heads with very little room for exceptions. The most impressive of these estates belongs to the count of the city himself, Kadri Ughad. By far it is the largest building in the entire city, albeit not as tall as the Riftsinger Temple. It can fit a total of 5 docking ports, one of which is reserved specifically for the Ughad household

The Bazaar
  • The large marketplace resides on the very edge of Shantytown, and taking a majority of the north-central section of the city, hugging and extending into the mesa that borders the northern part of the city. The mesa itself is currently being dug out, becoming an ever-expanding dock for traders. It is the economic heart of the entire city, being the host of most trade in the city, including less reputable business.

Description:

Port Anja is a well-sized trade port within the Sith Caldera. It lies around 300km south of the ruins of Shar Dakhan's former fortress on this world. At the center of the city lies along the southern face of a tall mesa, preventing the city from merely growing from a central point. The western end of the city holds the housing of the Council of Rootai, the housing of those planetary officials that make the city their home, and the personal palace of the count himself. The Eastern end of the city is a poor shantytown. Gang-ridden and in a constant state of poverty, many of its citizens, or most of the city's population, work in factories to produce goods for trade. Homes can often bee seen stacked upon one another, all but the base building made out of scrap metal or similar materials. The infrastructure as a whole is outdated and in need for desparate improvement. The central part of town contains the various temples to the Primeval gods, and the sprawling marketplace and trade hub dubbed the "bazaar". It is rife with businesses and merchants wishing to sell off their goods and services to incoming and going traders as they pass through the planet to their next destination. The docks here are built into the mesa, and still under constructions in most parts as the city tries to match the volume of traders stopping there.

History:

The history of the planet of Ch'hodos is rather short. The planet had been the base of Sith Lord Shar Dakhan. He built a large stone fortress here, which now stands in ruin, which was also a rallying point for the Dark Lord Naga Sadow. During the expansion of the Primeval, a certain Pirate Lord created a base on this planet for he and his followers along with their vast horde of riches. Due to its location the pirates were able to successfully raid several worlds within Priemval space with little consequence. After Kadri joined the Sith lords he made quick work of the pirates and took the wealth for himself, executing the pirate lord and enslaving the rest of his followers. Kadri then used his newfound wealth and slaves to sanction the building of the RIftsinger temple and his personal palace. Since the town has started to grow as a trading port for many traders through Sith space.

Intent:

To create a personal holding for Kadri Ughad, making him a count in the courts of the Sith Order.

[member="Kadri Ughad"] - Great post, my only a couple questions.

Can you link this planet if there is a sub from the primevil days, if not then the Wookie then, please.

Also if you can find any other history links I think they would be great to add here in the history section, otherwise just the planet link will work.

[member="Bryce Bantam"] it has been added to the original post

It also broke my post somehow and got rid of most of it, is there a way to restore it?

By the time I had gotten this message I had already rewritten most of the lore, and have now finished and updated it. I believe that it still conveys the same point, but the wording is going to be slightly different. Clicking on the location link should also work now.
