Arnok hated politics. He hated the way it permeated every facet of life. He had joined a faction only because he knew he had to, it was advantageous to his company. So he pretended he agreed with their goals, and secretly despised them. He had allowed himself a little vacation after a particularly big sale. A few days in Cloud City. What could go wrong?
Apparently, a lot. Which was why he now running through the halls of the city. Some kind of strange faction had invaded, and were rounding up the citizens. There were a few bodies on the floor he had to dodge, and he tried not to think about their fate.
Arnok debated whether he should go up or down. Up was where the shuttles were, but that's also where they were sure to have landed. It would probably be heavily guarded. Down would probably be less guarded, but there was no escape from down there. Still, there were 392 levels in Cloud City. Surely these invaders wouldn't have enough people to check every single level. Or at least he hoped not.
So he headed down.
