Poaching the Poacher - Collecting the bounty of Marjai Knull

If this was like the days of a few years ago, the Vagaari would be behind the cockpit of a fighter smashing some lone merchants to bits at the word of some other vagaari warlord. Honestly that didn't pay well. Going at it alone was probably one of the best decisions of his life. Better pay, less people yelling at him to do something faster or better. Of course, why would he quit putting his skills to good use? The only peddling that he had done before was with slaves, and that tended not to go over well in most parts of the galaxy. Being a slaver was a bad idea for a similar reason. Bounty hunting on the other hand? It was that mix of excitement and high reward that kept him going. Most bounties were against local pirates with little more than a blaster or a following with almost no skill. Only a few thousand per head at most. This was one of the only... larger bounties, if it could be called that, that he would collect. He could probably have enough to buy a better blaster with this head.

Kuvantu may be naive to the art of bounty-hunting, but he knew for sure that he could take this one. Slaving and bounty couldn't be too different, could it?

The yellow smog penetrated the air with a sickly smell. The Vagaari, however, was fortunate enough to be able to breathe clearly, wearing two rebreathers which he had connected at the location of his own nose. Having two mouths was...a rather rare predicament for most residents of the galaxy. Being the rather relatively uncommon being that he was, it would be easy to gather unwanted attention. Fortunately he did not heavily arm himself. Or more likely, that would be a detriment if the target lived to his dossier.

Either way, that did not matter. Get a single collar on the target's neck and he would be out before he knew what hit him. The wolvkil in stasis on his back would take care of... almost anything else. The art of slaving may not be so different after all...
