I believe it has to be existent, or at least pending secondary approval. I could very well be wrong, however.

[member="Rhodessa"] it depends, some planets might require a dev/discovery thread. In which case yes you are granted some leeway to rp on them as you made them. We are discussing certain things but generally no you will not be able to RP on worlds that don't exist. If you submit a world and we ask for a dev thread because of force nexuses, restricted materials then you can but there will be general guidelines (such as not trying to use it as a dev/mining thread of said materials)

A canon planet not on the map or a custom planet of your own making? Like [member="Matsu Ike"] said, if you are making a custom planet and want a restricted item, then yeah, making a dev thread before the planet submission may help speed your sub along faster(instead of stopping and doing it when requested). If its a canon planet but not on the map, I say go ahead. There is only so much map space.
