Tacky Thing
So, I caught the bug of Codex the other day.
And I was thinking of a concept, plus talking with Adam gave me some inspiration.
Would anyone be interested in helping build a really complex species out on the Galactic Rim? A world undiscovered but full of crazy.
I'm kind of got some ideas in my head, but...
A multi-climate world, with its own variety of sentient species.
Sort of Pandora (Avatar) meets Zerus (Starcraft).
I've got in my head a few species too, an insectoid species (based on Collectors, warriors, reinforced carapace, etc), and then an idea on an aquatic species, but more... cephalopod than humanoid. High intelligence, adaptable. The basic idea is species that have a high exploitability in the greater galaxy
And for the IC aspects of it, the Levantines/some random explorer stumble on this world, previously untouched. Then it goes from there, do we introduce ourselves? Do we leave them be and protect them from outsiders? Can we modify their genetics from afar and influence their evolution?
Just a concept, looking for two cents, four cents, and whole dollars worth of opinions.
