Strengths:
- Starfighter Killer: Due to the large number of quad laser cannons on these vessels, Pike-class corvettes excel at destroying starfighter, bomber, and interceptor squadrons.
- Capital Ships: While Pike-class corvettes possess a large number of weapons, they are all quad laser cannons, making ships of this class ill-suited for combating enemy capital ships. If going up against vessels designed for engaging capital ships, the Pike-class will likely have to retreat or face destruction.
Designed by Iridonian shipwrights and engineers, the Pike-class corvette was created to provide the Iridonian Fleet with a ship designed to destroy squadrons of enemy starfighters. While more than capable of neutralizing most starfighters, Pike corvettes are poorly equipped to handle hostile capital ships, usually requiring other capital ships or starfighter support if they want to combat larger hostile vessels.
