Intent: To make a full mobility fabric that can be used camouflage.
Development Thread: ATC Product Testing
Manufacturer: Arceneau Trade Company | Browncoat Arms & Industrial |
Model: Photoreactive Spidersilk Elaxtex
Affiliation: Open Market to ATC Customers
Modularity: Yes
Production: Mass
Material: Elastex, Shell Spider Silk, Memory Plastic and Flex-armor technology, photoreactive fibers, thermal dampening fibers

Classification : Multipurpose
Weight: Varying, In Pic; 1.8kg
Quality: 4

Special features:

Strengths:

+ Very resistant to Blasters and Vibroblades - Much like Shellspider Silk, it retains its ability to deflect blasters and vibroblades.
+ Stretchy and pliable - Using known memory technology already found in the galaxy and flex armor methods, the elaxtex and shell spider silk hybrid can stretch and expand and also revert to its original size. This is only for a limited time, as gross expansion and regular wear will require a replacement.
+ Camouflage - This weave contain photoreactive fibers to allow a material that bends light waves around the subject and removes visual, infrared (night vision), and thermal signatures.

Weaknesses:

- Kinetic damage: If worn alone, this material offers little protection against kinetic damage, broken bones, or contusions.
- Gross stretching: Consistent extreme gross stretching may wane the fabrics pliable abilities, making it redundant for use and requiring the purchase of a replacement.

Description:

With the need for a slimmer fit but photocamoflauge material, Browncoat arms have crafted a new material with the Spidersilk Elextex as a base, with photoreactive and thermal dampening fibers.

The first part of this fabric comes from Spidersilk Elaxtex, which is used to make body gloves or similar items with moisture wicking properties that allow a full-body, form-fitting garment. This material, if utilized in a body glove, allows much freedom of motion, much like the original black body glove of Sith trooper armor. However, the differences lie in the following.

The fabric is a base of shell spider silk. Shell spider silk is a textile that is used to create armor that resembles normal clothing. It has unique characteristics that allow it to deflect vibroblades and blaster pistols. Arceneau trade company used its vast resources to research commonly used textile techniques to collaborate with a lighter, but far more stretchable alternative to the traditional Shell spider silk. Using Bi-state Memory plastic techniques along with that of Flex-armor, Elastex threads interwoven with the Shell spider silk, it provided a far stretchier alternative, while still providing a measure of the Shell Spider Silk properties.

The benefits are the following. Much like Shell Spider silk, the lighter Spidersilk Elastex version retains its ability to deflect vibroblades and blaster pistols. Its' pliable nature allows a degree of stretchiness. However, there is a limit. An extreme gross stretch of the fabric may require a degree of time for it to return to its normally pliable state, about five minutes before it is suitable for use again. To enhance this textile, photoreactive and thermal dampening fibers have been interwoven in this weave to allow a material that bends light waves around the subject and removes visual, infrared (night vision), and thermal signatures. Consistent extreme gross stretching may wane the fabrics pliable abilities, making it redundant for use and requiring the purchase of a replacement.

HEy :) So I feel like this is really stealth techish. Can you please do a bit of development for this degree of camo at Mass production. Or lower it to minor production without the Development.
