DESCRIPTION
PhoenixDrive’s earliest construction operations were bound in the realm of civilian shipbuilding, catering to merchant companies and the occasional militia. However, as the Second Great Hyperspace War draws closer to the Balmorra system, the corporation has begun to pool resources into building up its own defenses, delving into the realm of military design. It is with this development toward such spacecraft that PhoenixDrive has begun to offer its services to the larger Galactic Alliance, in its war against the Brotherhood, and various neighboring entities of different statures. As a relatively new company in the grand galactic scheme, PhoenixDrive’s manufacturing operations have so far been based entirely within the Bormea Sector and primarily around the company’s main shipyards.

As credit’s flow into Phoenix’s repositories, its leadership has drawn up plans to expand operations with new shipbuilding centers placed in bordering systems. Only time will tell how their plans progress.

RATIONALE

PhoenixDrive began its life within the hull of a single deepdock, a repair service anchored around the crossroads of the Perlemian and Hydian Way trade routes. For decades, this would be the extent of its operations, serving passing merchant cruisers and facilitating the occasional military vessel, all while the increasing business of the lanes brought more and more wealth to the company’s doorstep. This build-up of credits eventually culminated in a major expansion on the part of PhoenixDrive.

For just less than a standard month, the main repair centers of the Phoenix deepdock were closed to the public, renovated and shaped into centers of production. As new fires burned within their bays, massive components of a larger creation began to leave the docks, gradually gathered and assembled outside. A great web of production facilities began to take shape; and in the following weeks, PhoenixDrive was fully transformed into a shipwright company.

Miliek took control shortly after the retirement of her father, PhoenixDrive’s original founder. Her tenure, so far, has been defined by an increasingly strong partnership with the Galactic Alliance, with PhoenixDrive’s operations expanding to provide dedicated shipbuilding and design services for the government.
