SPECIAL FEATURES

  • Always keen on surprise and control of the flow of battle, Perenus' saber reflects the versatility of his fighting style. His lightsaber pike is can collapse into a smaller hilt similar to that of a standard lightsaber, allowing him to switch between two different kinds of weapons. It also bears a crossguard design that dated back to the ancient Malechor.
STRENGTHS

  • Due to being made from an unstable synthetic kyber crystal, the saber generates far more power and can cause more damage than a regular saber. In addition to its weight, it can be a terrifying opponent in a duel.
  • Perenus has an edge on versatility and the control of battle due to him being able to constantly change his weapon's form.
  • The crossguard design allows him to defend not only him but the hilt well, especially in pike form when combating other saber-wielders that seek to cut the saber in two.
WEAKNESSES

  • Due to the extra components, this saber is especially heavy in comparison to other saber pikes, proving harder to control though its heavier weight can be a gift in the bind sometimes.
  • The unstable crystal, when experience a short-out, malfunctions for longer than normal sabers.
  • Cortosis will short the blade upon contact
DESCRIPTION
Versatility and domination is the way of Perenus and his saber reflects that. With its ability to shift between two forms, he can catch his opponents off-guard in a pinch and can overpower them. The lightsaber is heavier, making it harder to speed up and more tiring to swing about but its weight, in combination with its unstable crystal, can dominate a battle by its sheer force alone. Likewise, it is best fit for the saber style of Djem So which uses its qualities to the best of its ability. The ability to shift forms requires the use of the force. All in all, the saber is not only capable of turning the tides of battle suddenly, forcing the opposing party to quickly reevaluate their strategies, but also capable of winning a fight through its inherent power alone. However, without careful consideration and conditioning, the saber can wind out the user quicker than other designs.
