This smaller sword was made but the same meteorite that it's sister balde, Umber. Being noticeably shorter then its counterpart, this blade is meant for Cao's off hand as a secondary offense and defense. Being able to pull off some more elaborate parries with it. Meaning the two blades certainly complimented each other with a dual fighting style.
Much like it's older sister, Penumbra is named after the lightest part of a shadow. The body of the shadow representing Cao himself with his two swords representing the darkest and lightest parts of him. Also its larger counterpart it can be imbued with the Force to significantly increase its potential.
