Description: This armour is designed to be effective modestly against both ballistic and energy weapons. The armour plating is ablative, rated to handle several direct hits from average power blaster bolts and is strong enough to take just as many hits from average mass and velocity rifle slugs. It is considered heavy for medium armour and has an expensive power supply to power the helmet, personal shielding, and electromagnetic equipment docks. In the left gauntlet there is a personal shield generator that can take a few direct shots before failing. In the right gauntlet is a spring-loaded tactical vibroknife in the shape of a stiletto for close-quarters hand-to-hand combat. Helmet can link up with smart-linked weapons for enhanced performance by the use of the tactical HUD, which also displays environmental data, records/relays comm chatter and visuals, and has an FLIR-style Infrared sensor that can display on the visor in night-vision mode to mitigate Hapan nightblindness. The belt has an array of useful, common tools such as a liquid cable ascension system, storage for extra weapon magazines, grenade docks, and limited open space for a mission critical peice of equipment or other item, such as a storage bag. The right greave has an integrated mag-lock sidearm holster.
