Jaehyun has spent the better part of his early adulthood as a member of the GADF, having built a rather expansive set of skills adapted for combat situations and making him a versatile fighter.
His lack of social or tech-savvy skills is more than made up for with combat prowess. He is particularly skilled in close-quarter, urban combat, well-versed in the handling of close to medium range weaponry, but not a terrible shot either at long range.
He has a particular fondness for non-lethal hand-to-hand combat and the use of his trusty vibrotrenchknife if the situation calls for a more lethal approach.
Over the years, Jaehyun has also picked up a number of different languages to help improve communications in his dealings.

Walk softly, and carry a big stick - Jaeyhyun is described as a quiet and reserved individual, often presenting a stoic, steely exterior that unnerves those around him that do not know him on a personal level. He typically prefers the safest and most logical route in his approach to situations, but often gives in to his more energetic and empathetic counterpart, Taeyang.
Despite his cold exterior, Jaehyun is a rather kind and compassionate individual, always trying his best to make a bad situation better if it can be helped, but not at the expense of his own personal safety or those closest to him.
