There was not much on the world as she heard the sounds. The mechanical whirring of the chair she was sitting in with her hands in her lap. The white robes she wore while her hair went around her shoulder draping down to pool at the arm rests of the chair. She moved it forward while the other machines pumped to keep her healthy. She couldn't feel her legs after the explosion but she could at least say she was alive and the blackened veins in her face made her skin look dry and cracked. She had come here investigating claims of faith healers and sought to debunk them painfully if need be while her voice resonated out of her chest. Thick and scratchy like she hd been smoking for decades. "Wait with the ship for my return." She said it as her fingers wrapped around the control of her chair sending her forward slowly
