Pain Brings Freedom

Nemene simply looked down at her sister, as if looking at a beaten dog.

She felt power flow through her, strength, she felt it through the bond, as if Evelynn had completely given herself over, as if she was the one in control completely and utterly. The purple lines that glimmered on her skin seemed to give off a slight pulse, as if her entire being had seized with power. Nemene let out a deep breath, her entire being shaking with a feeling of complete and utter...control. Her eyes shifted slightly, her head tilting to the side as she looked at Evelynn.

Something had changed. Something had shifted in their bond. She felt Evelynn a new. The sensations that had always been there were...stronger. She could feel the prickle of her skin, the sun on her flesh, she could feel everything as Evelynn wailed. Slowly her foot removed itself from her sisters wrist, sliding onto the floor besides her chest. She studied her sister for a moment, then spoke.

“Stand.” She was speaking to a dog, not a sister.

Through the bond she applied pressure, giving Evelynn a push of sorts to follow her command to the letter.

Words.

Words have power. Had Evelynn oh-so-unknowingly just sold away her soul to the devil? She'd meant it, every ounce of want, desperation and need was poured into those three worlds. Take it all. In that moment the entire game changed, the relationship had shifted completely and it was looking terrible one-sided.

Down those shallow cheeks trickled the tears of desperation, she was now at Nemene Talith's mercy, something only heard of in myth and legend.

She was commanded to stand.

Words have power.

Evelynn legs moved, and not by her own volition. The surprise reflected upon the Silent Sister's face as her body responded to the direction of Nemene. What a frightening prospect. As the girl woman stood her body trembled as fear took up residence within her. When the mute had woken this morning she had felt invincible, the power she had lorded over her sister was like the ultimate drug, and now the tables had turned completely.

Now, as she stood there before Nemene she couldn't even find the will to look the other woman in the eye, instead leaving her head titled downwards as those tears began to splash upon the baking floor.

Hey eyebrows rose as Evelynn followed the command. This was certainly interesting. Their bond had been capable of carrying influences, small pushes and pulls in will, but never full commands, never something that the other sister had completely been against. Her eyes shifted slightly, looking down at her clothed sister and even forgetting her own bare purple lined skin.

“Look at me.” The command was stern, and once again Evelynn followed her.

The eyes of the blonde rose up to meet Nemene's glowing orange. The Queen of Rattatak shifted slightly on her feet, the purple lines had come to a stop, and were now receding along with her own strength in the force. The darkside slipped from her grasp, she no longer needed it. Slowly the purple lines peeled from her skin, falling into the air and dissipating in the air.

Nemene ignored the lines, having not even noticed them as they grew. “Stay.”

She spoke again sternly, and then began to walk around Evelynn. As she walked the girl focused on her, eyes boring into Nemene involuntarily. She walked all around Evelynn, forcing her neck to crane and then quickly shift as she walked behind her.

Nemene watched Evelynn's muscle stretch and bend as she struggled to keep her eyes on Nemene at all times.

Then finally she came around again, standing before her sister.

“Kneel.” Another command, another test.

No. She did not want to look at Nemene.

However it evidently didn't matter what Evelynn Zambrano wanted. She struggle against herself, tears still steaming down as the woman's head titled upwards to look at her sister. Their eyes locked. Humiliation burned her very soul. She tried, she gathered every single ounce of will that she had to try and break her own gaze but it was futile. Not even a waver in that controlled gaze.

As Talith paced around her, the mute could only stand there helpless as her own body betrayed her completely. Her head and neck moved to follow the woman, those granite eyes didn't even blink to rid the tears from her eyes.

This couldn't be happening. Her pain, her will, did Nemene own it all? Was she no longer the Silent Sister? Should she have been rechristened as the Puppet Girl?

A new command came and Evelynn dropped to her knees with no concern for her limbs, head titled upwards to still maintain that unwavering eye contact that had been demanded of her. A mix of terror and humiliation found itself lodged within the girl's heart but she did not utter a peep.

Oh this was delightful!

Nemene practically giggled as she looked down at her sister, a wide smile spreading across her lips as she plotted out all the implications of what this means, all of the things that this would bring her. It had been a year of pain for her, of humiliation, of degradation.

But for Evelynn, it would be a lifetime.

She would be a doll, and nothing more. Something for Nemene to play with, to dress up and use as she saw fit. What a perfect vengeance this would be, what a perfect little situation she had controlled. The smirk on her face grew, and her flesh seemed to prickle with goosebumps as excitement reigned inside her.

Her fingers raced across her own skin, nails softly peeling at flesh, as if she was ensuring that she wasn't dreaming, as if she was checking that this was real.

With another glance at Evelynn, she spoke. “There are so many things we must do now Sister, so many things you'll have to take care of.”

The smirk across Nemene's face could not grow any wider. Yes it would be a busy few days. Evelynn had quite a few public announcements to make, and a few private to boot. Oh this was just lovely. The Queen of Rattatak began to laugh.

While Nemene pondered what delicious little commands she could give to her new toy Evelynn wallowed in her own despair.

How could this have happened? How could she have let her control slip? What did she do wrong?! The look upon her sister's face brought a feeling of nausea to the waif. Was this her fate? The rest of her life sentenced to be some kind of plaything? Oh god. So many questions, none that had answers she wished to hear.

The Silent Sister had failed.

Was it her destiny to remain weak? At the mercy of all those who would use and abuse her? Worthless. Runt. Helpless. Livestock. Nothing. The girl found herself sobbing uncontrollably upon her knees still not capable of shifting her gaze as the mantra that had haunted her so often found itself resurfacing.

Don't....please....don't make me...

The mute wasn't entire surely of her sister's intentions, but she had absolutely no desire to find out.

“Be silent!” Nemene's command stung the air like a bee, breaking the room and instantly silencing her sister. She would use this bond to her advantage, this new found command of her sister would be an excellent thing. It would let her to as she pleased, move as she pleased, delight ran through her, emotions that she had not felt in months ran wild and tears of joy threatened to well up in her eyes.

Her eyes shifted down to Evelynn again, and she pursed her lips slightly.

Things would not be too bad for the Silent Sister, Nemene still needed her after all, still needed her strength. Despite all they had been through, Nemene still knew Evelynn was stronger than her, in the force at least. She was weak in comparison, and Nemene needed her Sisters strength if she was to grow her base of power.

“You are still a Queen.” Nemene said, gently now. “Still my Sister. Be good. Follow as I lead, and I may grant you the gift of pain.”

She smiled, her voice coy and soothing. Slowly she reached out, gently stroking Evelynn's cheek. Nemene began to manipulate again, but this time there would be no poison, no subtle control, this time it would be outright. “Like any pet, you will receive treats....If you do well.”

Her eyes lit up slightly, mirth filling them.

Yes.

She would have pets again.

Just like that she had no voice. Silence was demanded and silence was given. Her futile pleading halted, any whimpering, even the sobs stopped although the tears still roamed freely.

The consolation prize came for being the second-best sister and it was at least a relief that she was still a Queen. Ever the pessimist Evelynn had mentally prepared herself to live the life of a slave, abuse and degradation central. No, no. This was a cover. Oh, yes, the Silent Sister would likely be paraded out alongside Nemene. Walk the walk. Talk the talk. Be good. Keep up the cover. Wouldn't want to be a weakness in the public eye.

But behind closed doors it would have been another story, within the confines of their own palace she would be a slave. The Queen Slave, dressed in silks and other fineries dressed up and parading around for her sister's amusement.

Nothing more than a pet.

Nemene knew that there was nothing more that Evelynn craved than the sweet embrace of pain, the desire for such had actively warped their bond in the brunette's favour. Now she would reduced to selling strips of her own dignity and sanity for that sick satisfaction. The dealer and her addict.

Tear-stained granite orbs remained fixed upon orange understanding the conditions set before her.
