Zylon Wex sits with the Jedi counsel in the High Counsel Tower on Coruscant, The counsel concludes that it is time in Zylon's Jedi journey for him to take a padawan.
"Why must I take a padawan?" Zylon asks the counsel
"Because the only way for you to continue to learn is to teach" Replies Master Tai-Loon, An elderly, medium sized, green Twi'lek jedi master, known for training powerful Jedi, and strict teaching of the Jedi code.
"Go find your padawan, there is plenty of potential within these walls, many of them have been training here for as long as they could walk" says Tai-Loon
Zylon sits on a bench in the halls of the Jedi Temple, attempting to sense a worthy student within the Temple walls, knowing if his fate is to take a padawan then the force will cross paths soon.
Zylon thinks about the slaves he saved with his now deceased Master Nihal, and how if his Master didn't have Zylon as a padawan the mission wound have been a complete failure. This reflection shows Zylon the importance of finding a padawan.
