Green Bean
It hadn't actually felt like too long for Shan whilst he had been a captive of the Sith. The treatment wasn't as bad as the Padawan would have expected, but he knew the only reason he was treated...somewhat positively, was because of Corazona's connection to Nwul. It wasn't exactly a connection he approved of, but the Padawan couldn't blame her for it. The heart wanted what the heart wanted, and all that nonsense. It was potential information that would be incredibly important to the Jedi Order...but it was one secret that Shan would never give up. If anyone was going to be told about Cora's feelings with Nwul, she'd do it herself. He wouldn't betray her like that...But Shan had his own information he wanted to give anyway. He had to make himself as useful as he could be, whilst he was in the clutches of the Sith.
Of course, he could have went directly to the Council with the information. However, Shan felt like he had to speak to Kahlil first before he went in front of the Council. His Master had more than likely been worried sick over the state of the Mirialan, and he wanted to help reassure him. Who knows? Perhaps Katherine and the Noble kids had also been worried. He just had to go over all of the things in his mind, trying to figure out what exactly he wanted to say to Kahlil. Apologise for being captured? Thank him for his lessons since it helped keep him alive? Keep on a brave face? No. No. He wouldn't lock Kahlil out. There wasn't much that Shan was...upset over anyway. It was mostly the battle that had left damage on him, and even then it had been mostly physical. There were still aspects of paranoia and insecurity from being around the Dark Side, but Shan had slowly been shoving those thoughts into the back of his mind.
Either way, the Padawan knocked onto the door of where he thought Kahlil would be in the temple, focusing on his breathing. Brushing down his robes ever so slightly, he had needed to get a new pair after getting back from Thule...Or well more specifically Ukatis, but the details of that weren't important to Shan. He could write up a report about Ukatis later, once he had given the information about Thule and what he had learned about the Sith.
