Points of Interest: Old Echo Base, New facilities would be a Walker hanger for First Order Walkers, everything else would just be rebuilt from the old stations inside, Repair equipment, and staging equipment for all walkers
Description: Upon the capture of Hoth by the First Order, there was a need to expand the military holdings there. So Lieutenant Garett Van got the idea to repurpose the old Echo Base into a Armored Base for the First Order's walker battalion, the 242nd Armored Battalion. Van thought it would be just a kick in the shins if the Rebellion could see their old base being used by Imperial Remnants. so after rebuilding it the First Order Corps of Engineers made it able to hold the walkers that the First Order uses. Now called Outpost Veers it serves as the training and housing facility for the First Order's walker Corps. Most of the old facilities were rebuild, with the medical wing, command center, and hangers. one new addition was a Walker hanger for the first order walkers to be able to enter the base safely.
History: Once used by the Rebellion during the Galactic Civil War, it is now repurpose to the First Order's needs. After the ground forces of General Veers assaulted the base it was destroyed by Rebel saboteurs, as the original attempt the Imperials were using as to overload the ion cannon failed. So key sections of the tunnels were collapsed but most of the base was still intact for use.
