Description: Deep within the Unknown Regions of Space, a small space station circles the outer-most orbit of Makatak, taking roughly 83 days to complete it's orbit. One would miss the tiny structure if they didn't know it was there already. The top shaped station was only large enough to dock with a single battle cruiser. Roughly 2 km in diameter and 3 km in height, it once housed over 20,000 crew and passengers. Now the derelict station only holds abandoned star fighters...and the cryopods of ancient warriors.
Origins/History: Long ago, during the days of the Old Republic, the obscure station housed a single Harrower-Class Dreadnaught, and several squadrons of ISF Interceptors. As the Sith fell to infighting, the Harrower and its fighter squadrons deployed. A lone Sith would seek sanctuary within the station. None would be found there. Hunted down by a Jedi the two would become locked in a pitched battle of Light and Dark, a violent clash of lightsabers and vicious displays of Force Powers would end with both combatants locked away, frozen within a cryopod. Yet their battle was not over. Within the crypod, the two Force Users would lock minds, fighting each other within their mindscape for nearly two millennia, an endless debate of Light and Darkness. As the battle within their minds swelled, so did the presence of the Force on the station, steeping in the energies created by the two. After two millennia of such an intimate link to the Force, the station emanates with the power of the Force.
Intent: To create an interesting Force Nexus location that steps away from the standard wellspring...also to get some experience in making locations.
