PERSONALITY AND BELIEFS
Orran's demeanor surprisingly presents itself as he was once before. Calm, collected, and quiet. The more one lingers around him however, the truth of his nature begins to show, especially apparent when the odds strike against him.
Behind the mask, hides resentment and envy. Largely placed towards those secured in their righteousness or following the ideals of the Light Side, believing their beliefs are fickle illusions that can be broken down... an ultimate projection of his own predicament.
Although ultimately concerned with his own security and power, his fear of powerlessness from his torture bred a callous and needlessly cruel sense to him. Often should it prove feasible, he will exert his strength on those lesser than him for intimidation, though truly it is a notion of assurance to himself that devotes himself to the right path that is devoid of weakness.
STRENGTHS
Manipulation, Relentless, Force-based combat.
WEAKNESSES
Prone to rage and desperation, Subpar saber combat (A reliance on the Force in battle), Fear of powerlessness.
COMBAT STYLE
Orran utilizes Form VI, Niman, in lightsaber combat to compensate for his diminished saber skills. Through the usage of the force, he seeks to relieve pressure from duelists who may use more aggressive Forms whilst looking to disorient them to provide openings for his own attacks. Often, he seeks to mix it with the practice of Dun Möch to whittle his opponent's spirit and make them lose their composure. For he holds a belief that if the mind loses itself, the battle is already won.
HISTORY
Background: Once a Padawan under a Jedi Order, Orran began his journey into the Force with hopeful beginnings. Attentive and composed, he was known by his master for his serenity even during the most stressful of challenges. His face always maintaining a serene composure. Although this collectedness would soon find it's limit.
During a mission in the Outer Rim, Orran and his master would come face to face unexpectedly against a Dark Jedi that outmatched both of their capabilities. Threatened with defeat and knowing they were out of their field, Orran's master bid them to retreat. Yet, through Don Moch, the Dark Jedi wormed anger underneath the collected nature of Orran and spurred him into a rage that led to his capture.
Stubborn at first during his imprisonment due to the hope that he would be saved, repeated torments broke his will and faith in his past ideals. After such an ordeal, Orran finds himself engrossed in chasing the same power that had broken him, out of both strength and the fear of being at the mercy of another again.
