The Ori'ramikad-type Amphibious Interstellar Transport is a modern Mandalorian reinterpretation of the legendary Amphibious Interstellar Assault Transport, redesigned to serve as a battlefield workhorse, symbol of armored dominance, and personal transport. Where the original model emphasized brute insertion capability, the Ori'ramikad-type refines the concept with contemporary materials, advanced defensive systems, and expanded multi-role functionality while preserving its defining ability to operate seamlessly across space, sky, and sea. Measuring just over thirty-three meters in length, the craft combines the profile of a gunship with the internal volume of a troop carrier. Its broad armored hull, layered in Mandalorian iron alloys and carbon-durasteel composites, is fully sealed and pressure-tolerant, allowing controlled ocean landings and coastal insertions. Reinforced structural ribs, ballast control systems, and corrosion-resistant materials enable the vessel to transition from orbital descent to atmospheric flight and into aquatic environments without compromising troop safety or operational readiness. Its armament suite reflects a belief in overwhelming short-range lethality. Twin heavy laser turrets, a rear quad cannon, missile launchers, cluster munitions, and a bomblet generator provide devastating suppression during deployment, while missile deactivation systems and redundant shielding protect the craft from hostile interceptors and ground-based fire. This combination allows the Ori'ramikad-type to function not merely as a transport, but as a frontline assault gunship capable of carving open landing zones across land or sea through sheer force.
