- Name: Ori Gett'shukur (Large Nut Breaker in Mando'a). Often just shortened to Ori'gett.

- Description: The Ori Gett'shukur is the largest terrestrial anmial living on Dral'vencuyot, this simple fact has made it a fearless creature willing to take on any challenge thrown at it. It's shaggy coat of feathers may offer minimal protection but the great claws on its forelegs are as sturdy and sharp as steel.

- Distinctions: Male Ori Gett'shukur are distinguished by their colorful beaks (typically blue, orange, or both) and long fore-leg feathers. Females lack these long feathers and colorful displays.

- Swords for Claws: The claws of an Ori Gett'shukur are thick and incredibly sharp and have no problem tearing other creatures to shreds with brutal strength.
- Passive Giants: Either due to low intelligence or a lack of many natural predators the Ori Gett'shukur typically do not view any creature besides the Mythogalaar as a threat and are thus very easy to ambush or walk right up to without fear of immediately being harmed. The only exception to their passivity is if one was to approach their young. Should someone ignore their warnings the Ori Gett'shukur will turn violent and attack.

- Communication: Ori Gett'shukur communicate with long intricate songs which fill the daytime air of Dral'vencuyot. These act as a complex form of communication detailing position, mood, health, level of hunger, and many more attributes the Ori Gett'shukur could currently be feeling. They further communicate with deep chirps and chortles to warn of danger or to reprimand one another.

- General behavior: Ori Gett'shukur travel across their homeworld in small herds between eleven and twenty. They typically spend their days grazing on tree-leaves while specifically seeking out the large nuts these treeps propogate with. Occasionally an Ori Gett'shukur will feed off of low level vegetation but small plants like grass do not offer enough sustenance for it to be worth it. Such feeding off of low-hanging plants are for the taste and taste alone and Ori Gett'shukur specifically seem to enjoy the taste of various flowering plants.
Should a herd of Ori Gett'shukur be threatened the adults will attempt to claw at the threat with their large sword-like claws while putting themselves between the threat and the young of their herd. Ori Gett'shukur are unique in that they give live-birth and the freshly born Ori Gett'shukur are already capable of walking and keeping up with the slow moving herd in their travels.
The Ori Gett'shukur are one of the last surviving member of the large herbivorous bird species on Dral'vencuyot, the many others having been hunted to extinction by early Mandalorian settlers. This level of extinction is considered a great stain on the planet's history by the Vencuyotn government and thus the population of Ori Gett'shukur are thoroughly protected by laws and conservation efforts. This is further helped in that some Ori Gett'shukur have been tamed and it not uncommon to find Ori Gett'shukur serving as highly respected pack animals.
