Giggles. They filled Cali's personal chambers aboard her ship, the G.C.S. Couverture. Cali kicked her feet in the air behind her as she lay atop her super soft bed. Tap, tap, flick. Tap, tap, tap, flick. One article, missive, or curiosity at a time the pink Zeltron swam through information, offers, and orders on her datapad. Sometimes even work could be fun, especially when someone ordered something... special. So special they were usually bashful or shy about it or in the delivery of the product. 'Course Cali reassured them of Party Favors' discretion.

A lot of time was spent on Illyria, but Cali still roamed the galaxy quite often. Not a hard sell, really. Her being out and about meant she could return with news -- the sort not filtered or tainted by the messenger. Okay, okay, maybe Cali might color it too, but it was always accurate.

A quick blink and Cali's head tilted a bit to the side at one of the messages. Seemed someone wanted to meet to discuss something, but the details were light. Kind of sus circumstances, but it was far from the first time such a thing had come up. Even more curious was something about sending a ship for her. She had a ship. Everyone knew Party Favors had a ship because it's where they held some rocking parties.

After a slight shrug, Cali said they could send the ship.

Within a few hours, a Treebrary Class Corvette had arrived in order to pick her up.

900_Luis-F--Peres_treeship.png
The ship had no metal on it of any kind whatsoever. It was made entirely out of organic material - namely wood. It would be something she had never seen before in the slightest. It was also new, new to the galaxy at large because of the nature of the ship. The ship prepared to dock, and wait for her to enter. She would notice the biological and organic nature of the ship.

Cali bounced onto the bridge after QT-314 had summoned her. Her bright gaze was directed to the screen as her ever so capable droid commander noted the technical details regarding the construction of the ship. "Huh? Wood?" Who made wooden starships? Couldn't be just wood. Maybe a special wood. Or a really thick wood. Something that kept it from bursting like a tree in a super deep freeze.

They extended the plank -- docking arm -- so Cali could meet whoever was over there. Assuming someone was. After a bit Cali would cautiously approach on her own to investigate. Naturally with QT-314 expressing concern at doing so. "You know how to find me, Cutey," she responded without concern.

When the ship's crew took her to the planet Batuu, the person who was piloting it looked at her. "I am taking you to the person who hired me to bring the ship to you. However, you must leave all the metal on your person inside the ship. Should you not do so, I can't be responsible for your safety when you encounter my employer." The man said to her. "He made the ship that you are currently in, the Treebrary Class Corvette. It is one of his first creations. I expect you to be on your best behavior around him, alright?" asked the man.

Cali stared back at the man for a second before she abruptly struck a pose with a grin. "'kay!"

"Oh, don't worry, this isn't metal,"
she plucked at one of the gold bands of her dress. Then her hands fell to her waist and she bent over to peer down at the accessory there. "But this is. Guess I can leave that back in the room. You know you should probably tell a girl these things ahead of time. Like, everyone usually has some metal on them. Rank insignia, belts, blasters... Some even have steel-toed shoes. Don't want to stub your toe on a strange new world, right?"

Another oddity. No metal? Whoever this was must have had a difficult time interacting with the galactic community. Certainly didn't visit any densely populated worlds. Even the Wookie had metal -- you know, their bowcasters.

"Treebrary Class, huh? You mind if I wander 'round while you fly? Never seen a wooden ship before... kind of curious how it isn't exploding!" Tactless? Oh, come on, anyone would have asked that question. Cali just didn't beat around the bush. Er, so to speak.

"By all means," said the asset. "Due to his metal allergy, he does not like being around people who run the risk of touching him with metal objects until such time as he is able to interact with them without the risk of coming in contact with metal." said the employee of Viridian. "He has been working on more technology of the organic persuasion in order to utilize it as a replacement for the more metallic ships out there, so he can be prepared for the immediate future. After all, he views his metal allergy is a pain, and would do almost anything for a cure for the problem. Likely he has been working on more organic technologies to sell to the galaxy at large, or experimenting with his cooking."

The employee stated. "Be fair warned, should you choose to keep metal on you, it will put him on edge."

"His name is Viridian. You are a Zeltron, right? I recommend opening with some of your pheromones, just to put him in a relaxed state. "

"Metal allergy?" A lone finger lay lightly atop Cali's lips as she contemplated what had been said.

A smile returned in full when they asked and stated she was a Zeltron. "That's me. Not a lot of people just outright ask to be smothered in sweetness though. Well, okay, some do and they really don't get what they're asking. But, hey, if it'll help... Just hope they don't get too feisty. People tend to forget to speak when that happens."

"I'll take a peek around. Uh, I guess you'll somehow let me know when we arrive."
She stared at the employee for a moment curious how an intercom worked on an organic ship. Maybe they had intercoms, but with organic conduits and power? She really was interested in that. And whether her unique talent worked on things like that too.

Probably the only metal thing she didn't want to set down was her lightsaber. Not that she was afraid, but Xobos would get all grumpy if she found out Cali had been unarmed in front of a stranger all alone. Plus, Cali didn't want to lose it. Easier to keep track of it when it was in her possession.

With that, the pink one ventured into the ship awaiting their arrival to meet this Viridian guy-- gal-- person. Guess V had been called a 'him' so him it was! Should be interesting.

When they arrived on Battuu, the employee told her. "We are here. You'll have to do your best to get him to relax around you, Cali. He's carrying a weapon of his own creation."

Viridian noticed she had a lightsaber. He hefted the staff he had made that allowed him to send out shockwaves of the Force. He lifted it, preparing to slam it down which would send out the shockwave of Force Energies at her. He was not going to deal with having to battle a Jedi or Sith, because he wasn't able to hold his own against them yet. His metal allergy could prove to be a serious disadvantage - a fatal disadvantage. "You will put down the Lightsaber, or I will utilize this." He hissed, as he looked at her. He didn't want to get hurt by a Lightsaber, as Organic Prosthetics didn't exist yet. He'd need to work on something to that effect, though in the near future.

Blink, blink. "Okay!" she cried and followed it with a broad smile. Hadn't a clue what the guy was talking about other than something about pheromones.

After she arrived, the Zeltron found a particularly grumpy individual. Viridian? Guy hadn't bothered to introduce their self or, you know, say 'hello.' Kind of rude. "Uh," Cali drew the lightsaber hilt and then turned her head from side to side slightly. "Could, but that's dangerous. Anything could pick it up. I really think it's safer with me because I'm too friendly to hurt anyone." Not out of malice anyway.

She shoved it back in the holster than made the saber look like a blaster with a fake handle attached to it. With a face-splitting grin, the pink one opened her arms out to him. "I'm the Adorable Cali!" Pheromones. Right, uh... hopefully this didn't get censored by the gods or something. Did she really have to go all out? This guy have a bad sense of smell or something?

The grin put him at ease a small amount. Yet, he wasn't entirely sold about letting her keep the lightsaber. It was made out of metal, after all. Metal was a known allergy of his. An allergy that could put him in the hospital, and lead to exposure to more metal. As she opened her arms, he breathed the air around him, seeing what it would smell like. He had no experience dealing with Zeltrons - something she could capitalize on, perhaps.

"So, Cali, was it?" He asked, as he looked at her. "What did you think of the Treebrary Class Ship?" He was admittedly curious to see what a company owner believed about his ship. The pheromones were the only thing in addition to her gentle attitude preventing him from panicking about the fact she had a Lightsaber.

Was she a Force User?

If she was a Jedi, he had little to worry about.
If on the other hand, she was a Sith.....

"And be that as it may, I still would feel more comfortable if you weren't armed with a Lightsaber." He was shaking a little.

Cali smiled, though she was mindful to keep an eye on the man. At least he wasn't shaking and waving the staff around, which was nice. She reached up with her right hand to rub the back of her head with a little laugh. Some people just needed to realize what Zeltrons were all about -- being friendly. Super friendly! Why even their pheromones were there to be friendly. Also, kind of a way for her people to communicate in a fashion. Took a while for a girl to learn how to communicate effectively with outsiders once she left Zeltros.

Yep, the best way to communicate with non-Zeltrons was to laugh, be excited, and hug them.

A quick blink and a tip of the head followed. Okay, maybe she could try being more adorable for Viridian. Seemed like he was on edge. Course pheromones weren't magic. Couldn't force him to feel a certain way, but she hoped they helped.

"Uh, yeah, it's a novel ship. I mean, wood? I figured out some things about how it was made, but my special knack for understanding technology didn't reveal the chemical makeup of the hull." Cali giggled. "Kind of like trying to analyze a metal hull, huh? It's just metal; nothing to analyze. Though, I'm guessing you used a special wood."

Cali reached down to try and shift the belt around so the holster was more out of sight. "Better? Though I really don't think you want me setting it down and forgetting it. Don't worry," Cali held out her hands as she ever so slowly moved forward to close the distance a bit, "Zeltrons love peace. Actually, we love happiness, which you really only get in periods of peace. Works out for everyone."

Viridian had no intention of her using the lightsaber on him, he knew that much. Yet, the sweet smell and her laugh / smile helped to put him at ease a little. Hopefully she was a woman of her word, and wouldn't use the weapon him. After all, he didn't want to have to use the Force on her.... at all. The smell did make him take a step towards her for an unknown reason. It was something he needed to figure out the answer to, but how? He looked at her again, and said. "As long as you don't try to rotate it to where it touches me, we'll be fine." He stated, as he looked at her. She certainly was living up to the "Adorable" part she had spoken, though he wouldn't fully trust her yet. He was keeping his staff at hand, as he didn't know what she was up to. "Actually, the Treebrary is made out of Wood, and Force Energy, plus is an experiment of mine to reproduce a species my people once had, when there were more than 150 of them in the Galaxy that I know of."

The pink Zeltron continued to smile. Her scent was sweet, though not that of a newly flowered rose. Unlikely Viridian had a species that produced such a light, airy, and yet strong scent of Cali's pheromones. How they would affect him would vary, though most found Zeltron's extremely attractive or at least delightful company. Even without the pheromones, but certainly with them. A cutey like her could get out of a lot of trouble with just a smile in a lot of cases. Not that Zeltrons went out of their way to abuse their physiology; they weren't an excessively ambitious people. Ambition required far too much work.

Not that Zeltrons couldn't work or be serious. There'd been some tough-as-nails types among their number historically. Those were the exception to the rule though. Not black sheep, really, just... unusually focused.

"Okay," Cali chirped. Don't touch Viridian with the meta thingy. Got it.

Blink, blink. "Wood and Force Energy." Uh huh. "But it has to be a special wood. Like, a tree from Kashyyyk might have dense fibers, though I don't think anyone's ever dared to try making a starship out of one. Yours have to be really dense. Probably has to do with the Force Energy part. That's super interesting." Maybe if she could get a sample a chemist could figure out how it worked. Maybe not how to make it in a lab, but at least finger what kept it from exploding under pressure.

"So, what can the Adorable Cali Ziiva of Party Favors do for such a creative and enterprising man like yourself?"

"Your company is well known throughout the cosmos." The pheromones made him relax until the staff he was carrying clanked to the ground. He couldn't pick it up for the time being - not that he wanted to. She wasn't hostile in his eyes, and that was why he didn't feel the need. "I on the other hand am not so well known across the galaxy. You are likely curious about how the Treebrary, and other ships I've created work, are you not?" He asked her. Of course she was curious, likely enough. It would be easy for him to have her do what he wanted. "I've recently started preparing food using organic methods, and would like to see it sold. Unfortunately, due to my metal allergy, I do not want to travel, and sell it myself. This is one of the places where you come in. You have the Infrastructure and resources needed to mass market my creations. You likely will be working on some wonderful products if they could be modified to be made out of organics, I would be interested in buying."

He took a step closer to her, because of the intoxicating pheromones. "What is that beautiful, alluring smell?" Time for a hug.

"Of course, who wouldn't be?" Cali agreed quickly. Well, plenty of people, but that's because they didn't understand how things worked. It was all very interesting -- especially the part where starships didn't just blow up all over the place without cause.

A few blinks followed Viridian describing growing food. Sounded like the guy wanted someone to transport and sell his goods. Couldn't say Party Favors had a strong food market standing, but Cali could probably work something out. Sub-contract or subsidiary... you know, boring stuff not worth worrying about yet.

His interest in buying her products was pretty nice too, though the Zeltron really wondered how many could be made 'organically.' Suppose that would depend on his this magic tree bark worked. Still couldn't see using it to build a power generator though. Well, strange and impossible were things that hadn't stopped Cali before!

Another blink. Smell? Her fluffy mane of pink hair flopped a bit as her head tilted to the side slightly. Uh oh. "Oh," Cali giggled slightly, "probably the, uh, Zeltron perfume. You know?" An unconscious twist of her hips made sure she could feel where the lightsaber was out of sight before Viridian got too close. Hey, she was trying! Another giggle followed the man apparently stepping in for a hug. "Um, are you comfortable?" Just how strongly was he going to be affected? Could really put a pause on business at this rate.

"So, how do you make things organically anyway?" she asked in an effort to keep things on track.

"You use Bio-Tech to prepare it. You also leave out the preservatives, for the most part." He said, as he replied to her question as he wanted to get that part out of the way, so he could question more about her perfume. "Yes, I oddly enough feel comfortable. A bit relaxed, and distracted though." He admitted, as he looked at her.
