The Order of the One is a monastic organization that believes there are many Deities and that each of these Deities has their own domain that was manifested as a Galaxy. From this, the Order of the One follows the ancient teachings of the Ti'Xal Codices that spoke of their slumbering Deity, The Great Old One. Founded on Miasma by the Dark Lady, the Listener of Whispers whom hears the whispering desires of the slumbering Great Old One. Their reason for existing is simple; The Galaxy belongs to their Deity and must be prepared for its return. The Order seeks to conquer and convert all before them and to prepare the galaxy for the arrival of their Dark God.​

The Purifiers

Much as the Jedi Knights and the Sith are their own warriors, the Purifiers are those that seek a more forceful means of spreading their belief and converting those before them. They serve as the military arm, answering only to the Conclave and the Listener of Whispers. They are structured much in the same manner as the Jedi and Sith Orders with their own beliefs, ceremonies and theories of the Force. For the Purifiers the Force is the embodiment of the Great Old One's will, with those whom can harness the power of the Force being those that are granted the power of The Great Old One in order to craft existence itself in the image that their Deity demands.​​

The Awakening

The Awakening is the name for two distinct Ceremonies that are preformed upon members of the Order of the One. Each is a harrowing event in which those whom preform it are brought into the fold and are awakened to the teachings of the Great Old One. The most notable of the two is that Awakening preformed by the those of the Purifiers, in which they are taken to an ancient Prison on the world of Miasma, where the Dark Side is strong and the screams of the dead are still heard. They are locked within a cell and forced to listen to the maddening clamor that awaits them, as they repeat their guiding code. It is this harrowing that reshapes a Purifier and reveals to them that the Force is a Lie, there is only the Old One's Will.​

A Lesser known Awakening is that which are taken by converts of the Order of the One. In it they are taught that Life is a Lie, there is only Death, and from Death, Order. Thus their bodies are deadened to all feelings, leaving only the truth.​
