Lex-El
An Honest Man
Star System Unknown, on a frigate that is completely unmarked and thousands of light years away from a near by star system.
The spartan ship was manned merely by some Mirari Droids, and a few maintenance bots. Special modifications had been made throughout the entire vessel, though none were for combat. It didn't have any weapons in fact, nor escape pods. What few weapons it had were so barren and stripped down they were useless against the armaments that currently were used by the galaxy. Any vessel approaching would be hard pressed to even see a link between it and the company that had paid for the lone frigate to be there all alone. There wasn't even an escort for the lone ship, or even the makings of a small force to save it should it come under fire. It's hull was burnt and scorched, and it didn't even emit any messages of any type. Only those who knew their purpose would be allowed on the vessel, a special code had been given to them in the packet along with the coordinates for the ship.
Weapons deals of this magnitude were best done in secret, and far out of site. The fewer parties involved the better was typically the sound logic to follow, months out of the limelight had changed that doctrine though. Cade had been living off the contracts he had previously gotten signed by various heads of state. The galaxy had undergone vast changes, and the only way he could keep Blas-Tech at the top of the weapons world was by expanding their list of customers. So this meeting had been arraigned in the lone meeting room on the vessel that had nothing unique about it combat wise what so ever. It's lone unique feature was the room everyone would confer in after traveling through the rather barren ship with the skeleton crew made of various alloys. A simple round table stood in the middle of the room, with various chairs around it. A holo projector stood out from the top of the table, and a simple logo stood on the back wall of the room.
"Greetings," came the voice of the man who's image was projected above the table. His features were slightly blurred so as to prevent a hundred percent match should someone get an image or recording of the holo. A slight synthesizer was being used on his voice as well to prevent that from being used against him as well. "I'm glad you could all make it, this will work rather simply. You all merely need to ask questions of me, and I will provide you privately or publicly with the information you request. From there we will simply proceed to the transaction part." Cade's blurred visage then pointed to the strange card readers on the table. "Once you allow me access to the funds you promise, I will take that information to a third party while keeping your information private. After that, I will contact you each privately to send you what you requested or set up factories where you allow me to."
Sitting comfortably in his office, he took a sip of his caf before pushing his glasses up to the bridge of his nose. The ship they were all on was loaded with various other features that would come handy for this meeting. He merely needed one of the guests to say something first.
