Operations: Shipbuilding

Rationale: The company was founded by Fleet Admiral Kerkov 3 years into his command of the armada. Founded on location of the Terminus shipyards, it's name became formed quite hastily. Within six months ship architects, designers, and production managers. As well as employees, the company quickly built it's own office buildings within the 15x10 mile radius of the dockyard.

Tier: II

Description: Open Circle Shipyards is a newly founded company, a subdivision of the Open Circle Armada. When the need for ships for the Armada was to great to be relied on various shipbuilders and the designs weren't up to specifications of the OCA. William Kerkov decided to found the OCS, a better and easier way to build ships. And based in the company's own headquarters, the Terminus shipyards, it is quite close to it's parent company.

Just because the OCS is closely related and mainly builds for the OCA doesn't mean they also sell open market. But some designs are strict to Open Circle Armada, Unknown Trade Conglomerate, and other OCA allies. And thusly such designs require high fees and are very limited.

Subsidiaries: This company is a subsidiary of the Open Circle Armada,

Rationale: I founded the company
The Rationale of your company should not just be why the company exists in the literal sense, it should explain how it was started, the reasoning behind it, and the means of which it was obtained. Please expand on this to be at least a paragraph in detail.

As producing starships is a heavily expensive operation, it is suggested that you solely produce them at tier 2 and branch out to vehicle production at tier 3 or later. You are allowed to produce both at tier 2, but there may be difficulties having multiple mass-produced products approved without some way to show that you are able to cover the costs of such.
