STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES (Required: 2 Weaknesses Minimum) :
On the plus side: Oolyx is a deft pilot, brilliant astrogator, financial wizard, keen negotiator, and thoroughly likable indivildual. He also has perfect pitch and has developed the ability to sing in harmony with himself. He is the eternal optimist. Because of his unique stereophonic language, the Ithorians' four throats have the ability to violently expel air, resulting in a deafening and potentially concussive scream.

On the downside: He is without guile and won't tell a lie (not saying he can be swindled, just that he'll never ask for more than something is worth based on the current economic climate). He's a sucker for a sob story, and will only fight if his life or the life of his crew is in mortal danger.

APPEARANCE:
Oolyx Erd stands a bit over six feet tall, with greyish skin that appears a chalky blue when the light hits it right. Like all Ithorians, he has two mouths and four throats, allowing him to speak in stereo.

BIOGRAPHY:
Oolyx Erd, or Brother Oolyx as he's known throughout the hyperspace trade lanes, left the herdship Hasten Down the Wind in order to explore the galaxy, indulge in his wanderlust, meet new people, and trade goods wherever he goes. He is an Ithorian of immense good will, and has already developed a reputation for being "one of the good guys." This has also led some shady businessmen to think that he is a pushover or an easy touch, but Oolyx's size, quick wit and business sense has made even some of the harder cases soften when he lands.

Oolyx has also made several delivery runs of medical supplies and refugee aid to those in need, believing that helping ones fellow being is a large part of why one is given life to begin with. He always makes sure to bring something that may not have been needed so much as appreciated, whether it be candy, entertainment discs, toys for children, or even therapy pets. A fearless pilot, he is always willing to go wherever he is needed, though mostly he goes wherever he wants.
