Unorthadox. The Arachneri is an awkward blend of human anatomy and that of a giant spider, though not all would describe them that way. Onvyr's upper body is a solid torso of tightly knit muscle. The Arachneri has grown strong and tough due to both his genetic disposition and a life of active hunting. His lower half is that of an arachnid, eight legs and an exoskeleton form the base of the creature's body - due to his particular genetic makeup his lower body is covered in an excessively tough exoskeleton, naturally formed armored plates and structure augment both his body and his legs. These expand to his upper body as well, his arms and shoulders having their own toughened skeletal plates.
Thick hair adorns the Arachneri's body, though most notably along his lower abdomen and along his legs. Not only are these used to fend off cool temperatures but also as a sensing tool, much like a standard spider, these hairs allow Onvyr to sense micro-vibrations in both the air and the ground.
Since his birth, Onvyr was always one to wander off, making his own paths through the lush foliage of Skye or spinning webs through the dense forest. While the planet did consist of barren plains and rocky crags, it likewise had sweeping forests and even jungles towards the equator - it was this wilderness that both kept the Arachneri strong and protected. Long before the First Order exerted its dominion over the planet, Onvyr had spent decades living in the wilderness, hiding from the S'kytri, hunting the natural beasts and expanding the territory he claimed as his. Learning to be proficient with a bow, the natural born stalker grew only more deadly. Not much can be said about his upbringing, the manner of which was primarily self-driven. Maturing in the wildlands of Skye allowed him to develop into a tough and capable survivor, hunting and fishing for sustenance - his highly solitary nature discouraging social interaction with the S'kytri or otherwise. In fact, sometimes the Arachneri has been known to spin webs high in the trees in hopes of catching the native, flying S'kytri. Though the meat is tougher than what he can normally find, it will due in times of hardship and can sustain Onvyr if required.
