We do not have an official One Sith faction chat, and are currently not looking to start one.
This is mainly because experience has proven that faction chats quickly lead to groupthink, drama, and generally detrimentally affect RP activity.
That being said, you're free to start an unofficial hangout for any and all folks who are interested in doing so (because there's always people for that).

3rd party chat gets nasty. Blurr's the line between OOC and IC.

Depending on how much weight you have in a faction it could easily turn into a planning for the faction's movements as a whole with those who aren't in the group being left out of the loop.

I like the Chat we are in currently. it is hardly ever about Chaos in General just over-Hyping events getting each other motivated, and talking about general stuff, Brainstorming and Planning out little ideas here and there.
Sure Drama Happens and I have left the Chat to Cool off and avoid saying things i will later regret but that is because our group and our people are that mature that we come 15 minutes later sobbing "I Love you Man" ([member="Darth Ophidia"])
Overall for myself it has been a wonderful experience to share with [member="Darth Ferus"] and [member="Darth"] Vizos Naga and Pyrrhus and Azurea and the whole SA the Chat in Skype is that place where great time happen and Bonds of Friendship that go beyond the IC and OOC really flourish.
If you can bring yourself to enjoy such a thing and are interested in it i would love to start one up if you guys would be so inclined to do so, it doesn't even have to be a OOC chat but a Chaos Star Wars RP Chat in general where we share knowledge and ideas and ask questions without having to go through the Hassle of the PM Inbox. Maturity and Respect are abundant with my boys and girls. If you think you got those 2 Simple Qualities, then hell yes, I recommend it.
For me it has been a very positive thing and IC and OOC have never blended together in a way where we cannot fix it because we care about each other and have gotten to the point where we have formed a friendship, every last one.

Speaking personally, I am 100% supportive of unofficial chats of any kind.
Vrag covered the most of reasons why the we don't have an official members chat, but I'd just like to highlight that we strive to keep as much planning and interaction as possible here on these boards. It's the best way to ensure that no one gets left out.
That being said, if you guys wanna yak at each other in skype, go for it

Issue os, the SA is small. OS isn't. With the OS as large as it is, an official group would.be crazy. Too crazy. What works for one faction might not work for another.

Not all cliques are a bad thing, but that can be bad if they're not opening to new members and such. Makes a void. So yeah, I agree with ya.

Otherwise, you are right. People being left out would be awful, and I wouldn't want to do that to anyone. So I definitely understand the worries about something like that.

It's has a pretty broad meaning. Just RPs in general. Makin plans with a couple of buddies and not really including anyone else in it. I mean, its not technically wrong in the slightest, just I'd rather see it open to everyone. Even in the SA any planning done on Skype gets put on the forums so everyone can see and put in some input.
