Once I Was But The Master (Raid on Styx)

The Admiralty
Codex Judge
The Reason-class didn’t have any electronic warfare-suits installed, Ovmar knew this because he was pentesting the ship while Varanin and Ash were comparing virtual tools, the warship simply had too much power forwarded into its weaponry, shields and cloak capabilities- there ain’t enough juice left for even the simplest firewall.

That said, few ships had dedicated EWS installations, simply because… it really wasn’t that necessary half of the times. But sadly this was just that half of a time, if only Ovmar had been granted more time. If only Varanin had decided to take more time speeching it up with Ash and the other Suns.

Instead, when Ovmar nestled himself into the main systems of the ship, carefully making sure he didn’t trigger any electronics that might give away his appearance, the Varanin was almost done with her talk.

So the Sith Lord wasn’t able to shut-down life-support, vent the interior of the ship, disable the hyperdrives, disable the weaponry slash shields or even direct the internal defenses against the current owners.

There was only one thing he could do, modify a little snippet of the code so the ship would ping out its location- at moments that it was already broadcasting information as to minimize detection threats. It was an organic code, akin to a little VI which may or may not make things easier in the future.

And then they were gone.

"Well... that went well." the Sith Lord said to nobody specifically.

..."Understood."...came Ordan's solemn response to Airal though his teeth had grit a tad when she refereed to him as her officer. Truth be told Ordan had served and fought with the likes of Domino and Rayl, then known as Cypher, and this new woman didn't quite measure up to them thus far. He knew Mr. Ash though which is why he remained quiet when the hologram flickered to life of the bridge of the capital ship and listening Ordan continued to say very little. After all the reality was in his mind one of these two would become the next leader of the majority of the Black Suns forces and he knew which one he wanted it to be...

...Ordan had done as asked and switched his comms to a Black Sun channel so that Airal could relay any messages that she decided however this only came before the Star Destroyers commanded by Ashin Varanin had made the jump to hyperspace and left the system with their cargo in tow. In the back of his mind Ordan still felt as though letting Ashin go so easily was wrong considering that she had come into their territory firing on what might have been an asset to them in the moons and then taken a station they might have been able to use whether it was considered private property or not....

...in the end it had been a very diplomatic solution for a band of criminals and cut throats...

---------------

...the flotilla commanded by Ordan would continue to hover in dead space for awhile longer. Sensors had picked up some smaller vessels on the edge of the system but that was all. As far as what his scans had showed him Ordan didn't consider those two ASA Starships a potential threat and besides that the Albrion Systems Authority and the Black Suns were, at least to his knowledge, on fairly good terms...

...the Reaper Starfighters and two Gunships would return to their racks on the pocket carrier as all stations returned to an at ease mindset. The Dirge Class Assault Star Destroyer and its escort of Corvette's and the afore mentioned Pocket Carrier would wait a few moments before preparing to make the jump back to established Black Suns space. Once there business could resume as normal for Ordan...
