Omega

Since I have yet to see a thread about the Omega event here...


From what I understand, the Omega event is going to take place on the West edge of the map, so the opposite side as the SJO. This might make it difficult, but not impossible, for the SJO to take part as a faction...we could theoretically partner with our friends in the GA to use their space as a staging point.

Personally, I just want to know if the faction is planning on getting involved as a faction and if so, how. I'm assuming individuals will still be involved, but wanted to check faction-wise as well.

[member="Audren Sykes"] I don't think there'll be a faction-wide involvement, but that's not to say that plenty of us won't show up. I myself can't handle such a big event, but you'll have plenty of OSJ members to partner up with if need be.

I'm with [member="Aria Vale"] insofar as it might be too much - in my experience, the Event threads have a habit of exploding in pace, such that there are dozens of posts in an hour. That's too much to be keeping up with, so I doubt I'll be able to participate either, unless we have smaller threads at a more controlled pace.

we have had members express interest in leading a ground and fleet forces for those respective threads, we have some members going the pvp and the pve but it is mostly members and not the order itself. All are open for their own things.

What the others have said pretty much is correct when the events start. So mostly individuals sign up for them, however, if there are members that want something more involving the faction and if you get enough interest, you would be most welcome to go as SJO reps for the event.

I doubt I will join it, as I have limited time now and keeping up with the threads I do have is what I will concentrate on for now.

That may change when the event start, however.
