Name: "Wolverine" powered battle mech
Intent: Anti-personnel vehicle for Omega Pyre's ground assaults.
Role: Anti-personnel armored AI-controlled vehicle
Armor: 1" durasteel
Height: Approx. 4 m. tall
Length: 2 m.
Width: 3 m.
Weight: about 1 tonne
Propulsion: 2 mechanized legs, operated by AI, or remote-operated by 1 controller
Top Speed: 15 km./h (running) 10 km./h (walking)
Armaments: 2 "Vulcan"-class repeating lasers cannon
Passenger Capacity: 0
Cargo Capacity: Care package for on-battlefield infantry.
Variant(s): Optional small cloaking device, only activated while stationary. (Very expensive, recon only, no guns)
Pros:
  • Fairly fast movement speed
  • Devastating en masse, especially against infantry
  • Fairly easy to mass-produce (only 1000 creds per)
Cons:
  • Tanks and other anti-vehicle units will crush or destroy it somewhat easily
  • Lacks AA capability
Alternate mode: If the guns are removed, and the armor is half as thick, it is capable of sprints of 15-20 km/h. A cloaking device is a possible defence, but not needed.

A few notes to consider: AT-STs were almost 9 meters in height and ran at speeds of 90 km/h. So your design here presently is dreadfully slow and somewhat of a midget compared to other walkers. As well, Vulcan cannons aren't really a think in Star Wars. You'll want to use either blaster cannons or mass driver cannons for the armament.

This looks to me like it's trying to do three things at once
  • Anti-Infantry weapons platform
  • Mobile Infantry Defense
  • Recon & Stealth
In order for it to most effectively employ repeating laser cannons in a light support walker, it needs to be fast and lightly armored. In order for it to most effectively protect infantry, it has to be slow and heavily armored. And as far as a cloaking device on a walker like this, such measures would be incredibly expensive and cost-prohibitive to mass production (Which speaking of, this needs a production quantity note.)

If you truly think the outlines of your walker will be effective, then so be it. Presently, this walker is slower than your Heavy. Up the speed by whatever amount you want and I'll approve it.
