Description:
The fira are the ancient melee weapon of the Selkath of Manaan. They were traditionally made out of cortosis ore with durasteel base and were usually more curved than an average scimitar. This set of fira dates back almost 2,000 standard years and has an inscription along the hilt, although no one has bothered to translate it. The set was passed to Ombo years ago when training with the most elder Selkath. The flourishing style and fast paced fighting involved with the fira requires a great bit of skill to use, and even a decade of practice cannot make a master. Because of how ancient the set is, a great deal of care is taken to ensure they stay as strong as they were the day they were forged. The weapons have short reach but a wide arc of power, and the curved blade allows for a greater ease of parrying. Other strengths of the fira include: the ability to short lightsabers and block energy bolts (due to the cortosis covering), fast-hitting and lightweight, easy to store and light enough to easily run with, great for fighting multiple enemies. Some weaknesses include: short range, not strong material, not much power behind each stroke.

Description: The trident Ombo uses is about 2m long and was custom made for him as payment for a job. The weapon is his primary melee weapon, being useful in more situations that the fira he has. He has, over the years, developed a sort of art with the trident and uses it for many non-combat purposes, such as fishing, hunting, and making s'mores. The trident is made primarily of durasteel with vibroblade ends to help him pierce targets more effectively, the cone structure of the tip increasing the sturdiness of the blade. The backwards-pointing tip is also another way he can use the trident, although that is usually reserved for stabbing backwards. Unlike most other tridents, this trident was designed to be solo weapon and not to be accompanied by a net or other restraining tool.
