SPECIAL FEATURES
Hurlothrumbic Weapon: Hurlothrumbic Generators were created to induce Fear by producing energy waves that react with Human and Near-Human brain waves, triggering hormone and chemical production within a victim.
  • Bypass Barriers: The energy waves are able to bypass most barriers and obstructions including starship hulls and many types of shielding. Some cybernetics and deviceshttp://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Neural_band are able to counter or reduce its effects. Neuranium is known to deflect the energy waves due to its extreme density.
  • Non-Damaging: The Projector does not harm anyone, cause damage to hull or shield, disrupt barriers, or structures. It only causes beings struck by it to feel the sensation of fear and dread, which means even at its most potent it will not literally fry someone’s brain.
  • Area of Effect: The beam is large enough to cover a bridge tower on a Destroyer or even the entirety of some smaller vessels such as corvettes or patrol frigates. Those outside the beam suffer no side effects.
  • Indiscernible: The energy is invisible and thus difficult for a ship to realize it has been struck or is being effected, and almost impossible to know if the target was successfully hit at range.
  • Varying Degrees of Effect: The projector causes fear inducing energy waves, however each individual’s brain reacts to such sensation differently depending on their proximity to the projector's area of effect as well as their own brain chemistry. Some people may become catatonic, others in the fetal position, others still might become angry to overcome the sensation. Some individuals might be able to push the feeling of fear down and overcome it with little if any side effects, and for some the feeling of fear is natural in battle and doesn't hinder them beyond a passing measure.
  • Human/Near-Humans: The projector affects humans and near-humans, but not many other species due to how the energy waves are intended to react with human brain waves.
  • Spinal Mount: The weapon is set into a fixed spinal mount. It can only fire directly in front of the ship, however it may be fired continuously.
  • Depreciating Range: While the weapon is effective up to Turbolaser Range, it suffers from a depreciating effect at longer ranges.
Sensor and Targeting
Stealth Module
  • False Energy Signature Projector
  • Static Jammers
  • Energy Dampeners
Communications
Miscellaneous
Strengths:
  • Balance: The vessel features a balance of speed, starfighter compliment, and offensive capabilities rather than specializing in a single field.
  • Durability: The Olympus features heavy turadium frame and matrix armor hull beneath military grade shielding.
  • Minor Stealth: While not able to hide in open space, in fields of distortion such as nebula or asteroid fields it is able to hide from sensor detection but is still visible.
Weaknesses:
  • Sluggish: While it is fairly quick for a vessel its size, it struggles to rapidly reorient making it sluggish to realign and keep up with smaller vessels.
  • Aft Weaponry: None of its capital weaponry is able to fire in its rear arc, relying on light ion cannons and point defense weapons to protect its rear.
DESCRIPTION
The Olympus, a modified and rebuilt variant of the Harrower-class Dreadnought, is the flagship of Darth Vulkan, operating as his temple and the home of his power base as the former Sith Lord recuperates from his time in the Netherworld. Much like the classic version of the Harrower-class, the Olympus has an arrowhead shaped design with a split prow, atmospheric maneuvering phalanges, and a squat pyramid-esque superstructure which houses his followers. Typical of star destroyers, the vessel narrows closer to the prow giving it a slanted shape which allows for greater forward firepower. Between the two prow blades sits the main hangar, with two openings stacked one atop the other. The ventral surface beneath the bridge structure has a second hangar dedicated for troopships and transports.

Offensive Systems
The majority of the Olympus’s weaponry is featured in a few batteries of oversized weaponry capable of delivering very powerful onslaughts against its foes. Its primary weapons are eight Vulkite Beam Cannons, devastating particle beam weaponry that unleashes a conflagration of plasma upon contact with a target. Each turret is as powerful as a full battery of Hypervelocity guns. Supporting these main turrets are four Energy Siphon Cannons which steal shield energy from a target to reinforce the Olympus’s defenses and aid in recycling and recharging its shields.

Supporting these twelve oversized turrets are sixteen batteries of Deck Cannons, combined ion cannons and mass drivers which fire in tandem, with the ion blast opening a small hole in a target’s shields for a fraction of a second, allowing the mass driver round to slip through straight to the hull. This is not guaranteed, as stronger more potent shielding is able to absorb both blasts but the likelihood of delivering the slug increases as shield integrity drops. All of these are able to fire forward, with half able to fire in either the Port or Starboard fire arcs, and half able to fire in either the Dorsal or Ventral fire arcs.

The Olympus features heavy point defense weaponry which are spread evenly across the hull to provide a full and effective fighter screen. Eight batteries of Light Ion Cannons target smaller capital ships, dropships, and gunship sized vessels supported by eight Composite Beam Cannon batteries, excellent for strafing through formations of fighters and combining to cut and dissect enemy corvettes. Sixteen batteries of point defense lasers and flak cannons provide the majority of anti-missile and anti-fighter protection.

Finally, unique to the Olympus is its Hurlothrumbic Projector fitted between the prow blades and the forward hangars. The weapon is a fixed spinal mount, only able to fire its invisible beam of energy waves directly forward. The beam is large enough to affect a section of a Star Destroyer, such as the bridge tower, or even the entirety of small frigate sized vessels if the angle is correct. Designed by Darth Cerbera, the Projector is not a conventional damaging weapon but one that emits energy waves intended to interact with the brain-waves of crewmen, triggering their brains to begin producing chemicals and hormones associated with the sensation of fear and dread. The Energy waves bypass most barriers such as many types of shielding and starship hulls, to affect the crew of the targeted ship directly. The weapon affects humans and near-human species the most, with many other species being immune to the weapon’s effects given their differing brain chemistry and has varying degrees of effectiveness based on the individual and several other variables. Its range is comparable to a turbolaser before its effectiveness begins to depreciate and dissipate until it is unnoticeable.

Defensive Systems
The Olympus is a durable vessel, based of the designs of an Empire’s front line brawling Dreadnought, and built of resilient material. The aerospace frame consists of a skeleton of high-density Turadium designed to absorb impacts and defend essential systems with a layer of belt armor around the bridge and reactor. The hull of the vessel is brushed bronzium, a material known for its appearance and for being used in the construction of droideka. Finally the majority of the ship’s armor is alternating layers of horizontal and vertical compressed Matrix armor to provide the core of the ship’s durability.

The Olympus features a military grade Deflector Shield generator, comparable to any other heavy cruiser. This shield is capable of shuttering sections of the shield to avoid the dovin basal ‘shield grab’ attack used by the Yuuzhan Vong during their invasion of the galaxy centuries ago. Additionally it uses an Anti-concussion field to repel warheads and reduce the speed of debris striking the hull.

Stealth Module
While the Olympus is not designed to hide or sneak through systems, it is able to lurk within nebulae where it is most dangerous. A hydrostatic field allows the ship to submerge in aquatic environments and drift through nebula mostly unscathed unless large objects are present. The Olympus uses a False Energy Signature Projector combined with other systems such as static jammers, energy dampeners, and gravitic amplitude modulators to allow it to blend its sensor signature into the background of realspace phenomena. These allow it to remain hidden unless actually seen with visual confirmation while within or obscured by these phenomena, but is mostly useless in open space.

Other Systems
The Olympus has advanced targeting systems to sift through the turmoil of combat and reduce the effectiveness of electronic warfare attacks against the vessel. Long range full spectrum sensors allow the vessel to navigate through realspace phenomena with ease, able to detect gravitic, electromagnetic, and photonic distortions within nebula or asteroid fields. Its GAM is able to be used to disrupt yammosk as was its original purpose. A frequency jammer is able to disrupt subspace and holonet communications of enemy ships in the nearby area and its communications module features an Interrogator which forces a ship to broadcast its registry data. Finally it has an Ion Scrambler so that communications to and from the vessel cannot be traced back to its location.

Internal Layout
The Olympus features a very unique interior, designed less like a command vessel and more like a ship intended to be lived upon by its crew and complement of loyal stormtroopers. In its bowels its waste disposal systems connect to a Molecular Furnace and Solid Fuel Converter which allows the vessel to produce its own resources and reduces the need to resupply and rearm. A small production facility it fabricated around these devices where slaves or droids work tirelessly to repair or replace starfighters, fabricate pieces to replace damaged parts, produce battle droids and munitions, as well as be fed to the machine when their usefulness is worn out.

The superstructure of the ship had to be redesigned due to the inclusion of Vulkan’s Temple, the Sepulcher within its depths. Because of this the Olympus has reduced cargo and troop space by comparison to other Harrower-class Dreadnoughts. The ventral hangar contains numerous troopships, dropships, and shuttles for the legion of troopers loyal to the Sith held within the Destroyer. Leading to this is hangar are large arching corridorshttp://i.imgur.com/0UOS5DG.jpg lined with statues of long dead sith lords and red banners, large enough for a company to march through in formation.

The bridgehttp://i.imgur.com/vbGujsw.jpg is reminiscent of the bridge of the Executor-class Star Dreadnought, but situated at the very base of the Bridge Tower. Arching viewports fitted with viewscreens connected to the ships Battle Analysis Computer and Sensors line a panoramic view of space. A walkway splits two crew pits which are surrounded by secondary catwalks. To either side are sensor/communication and fire control crew rooms. Outside there is a single private holocommunicator for an officer or Sith to use to speak with others across the galaxy. A security checkpoint is situated just outside the bridge and is normally operated by a squadron of Death Troopers and a pair of Honor Guards.

Above the bridge is a much larger Observatoryhttp://i.imgur.com/PQJcM6c.jpg which is built into the bridge tower. This acts more like a ceremonial bridge more than anything else, where visitors are taken when shown the vessel’s command decks. The Observatory is massive, with similar features as the Bridge just on a larger scale. Upon entering the observatory a person is on a walkway, to either side there are a few tables and comfortable chairs, almost like an officer's lounge. As they move further the person takes a flight of stairs to the mezzanine where crew pits are located to either side. Finally, up a second flight of stairs to the command dais where a tactical display is found. The viewports on the Observatory are in the same style as the bridge, simply many times as large. Sometimes a Throne replaces the tactical display on the command dais.

The Sepulchre
The Sepulchrehttp://i.imgur.com/aATgjEc.jpg is the Temple of Darth Vulkan, a sith temple built into the Olympus just beneath the superstructure of the Command Tower. Upon entering the high vaulted gateway into the temple, the paneling features hewn stonework rather than metallic panels of a destroyer. The stones are carved from dull grey volcanic rock by hand, as the main chamber opens one finds themselves within a Sith Temple, resembling those of Dromund Kaas. Large arched ceilings several stories high loom overhead, statues twice the height of a man line the columns. Balconies are situated to either side of the main chamber and at the end of the corridor sits a statue of some dark spirit from the Netherworld. To either side of the statue there are spiral staircases of stone leading the second floor.

Several smaller rooms are situated to either side of the main chamber, training rooms, libraries, archives, armories, barracks and prisons for the Sith who are aligned with the Legion and its master. Here the few acolytes and aspirant Sith and Dark Siders live within the confines of the Sepulchre, watched over by the Exarchs, eight Sith Mystics who aided in Vulkan’s resurrection.

Behind the large statue is an arched doorway, flanked on either side by a staircase leading downward. Behind the Doorway is the Chamber of the Exarchshttp://i.imgur.com/9QugIey.jpg, eight thrones upon a dais where the Exarchs hold court in the name of their master. Between them sits a monument, the very stone Sergon was sacrificed upon to summon Vulkan’s spirit into the body of the bright red Barabel, still bearing his blood upon it. Sometimes Vulkan will attend court within this chamber alongside them, the monument acting as his throne in the center of his Exarchs.

If one were to take the staircases leading below the Council Chamber they would find themselves entering Vulkan's inner sanctum, his suite of rooms where he retreats to find solitude and contemplate, always guarded by a pair of his red robed Honor Guards. These rooms contain a foyer with a temple-esque motif with more comfortable bedroom and gravity room.

Hurlothrumbic Projector (1)
Now my question is; in the Wookieepedia article it states that the only known model was abandoned etc. Where would've Darth Vulkan found an operation Hurlothrumbic Projector if there was most likely just one of them eight hundred years ago?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask for a separate tech submission for a ship-mounted variant of this Hurlothrumbic Projector, as stating that it's just a larger version of the rifle is prone to misinterpretation.
