Location: Crucible of Order - Bastion

Rellik was awoken in the early hours of the morning to a beeping at his bed stand. A quiet alarm that let him know someone had entered the secure sections of the Crucibles library. Rellik stared at it for a moment longer than he needed to. Then he stood up and prepared himself for the journey down the spire to the library. Putting on both his cloak and his saber he prepared himself for anything. Although this particular alarm showed that whoever was in there, had access.

As he descended the air grew heavier. Weighted under strong dark side energy. Even for the secure levels of the library, this was something he had not felt in here before. Rellik stepped through the final doorway and paused in the threshold. He had come to see someone he had not in a very long time. Darth Nexion Darth Nexion Rellik exhaled softly through his nose and stepped in.

He was happy to see the man but at the same time weary. Rellik knew Nexion would be able to feel his presence. So there was no reason to go through formalities.

"If I had known resurrection came with library access, I'd have given you one a long time ago. I am happy to see you old friend. It has been to long."

Nexion had returned to the Diarchy rather recently. After being separated from them for some time, a lot had changed. He had just met up with his oldest friend in the Diarchy, Diarch Reign, not too long ago who welcomed him back with open arms... you know, more or less.

So, Nexion was here, familiarising himself with the Diarchy Crucible on Bastion. This eventually led him to the library, which Nexion was curious to see what texts and information the Diarchy currently had stored with it. As he searched the library, he eventually made his way to the entrance of the secure section. Nexion looked more annoyed than anything and sent a small zap of lightning at the control panel to open the door. Not enough to destroy the console, but shut it down at least.

He spent a good while looking through the texts before sensing another familiar presence approaching. It was like Reign's but carried it's own clear distinction. Nexion knew who it was too easily, but paid him little mind unless he was looking for him. Not too long later, he hears Rellik's voice speak to him from behind, Nexion's smile growing to an all-too-familiar grin. He spun around to face the Diarch.

"Rellik, my old friend, it's good to see you too. I would have accepted your offer, but it was much more fun to do it the way it really happened. How've you been?"

Nexion's voice was the same as ever, his tone never really telling you whether he's serious or faking his care.

Rellik allowed a breath of quiet laughter to escape his nose, the corners of his mouth lifting in that familiar, wry way.

"Of course you did it your way. I'd expect nothing less."

He stepped in fully now, not just as a guardian of the library but as a brother long denied familiar company. There was no posturing between them. Just two old monsters slipping back into the habit of sharing air.

"Reign told me he saw you. I was starting to think I'd only find your shade and miss you by. I am glad to have stumbled upon you. - I've been well… more or less. We've survived a few catastrophes. I am unsure how much Reign has told you. We fought a conflict with old gods, expanded substantially, engaged in war with the Sith Order, created a non-aggression pact with the mandalorians. Established ties to the major banks, traders, and criminals of the galaxy all while continuing the growth and prosperity of the Diarchy."

All of it was said with a smile. Happy to inform one of the creators of such a thing that it was going well.

"Funny thing about this library. The more we build, the more the old ghosts rattle their chains. Beware, I had three old Sith try to take over my body from an old scroll I dug up and put in here."

There was a hardy but serious laugh from the Diarch as he told Nexion about the dangers of the library. He knew the man could fend for himself well.

"If there is anything you need, I am always willing to help. Is there anything interesting you of late, or did you just want to see my new additions to the library?"
