 Oh Hey I Hit 2k

Didn't realize it on account of working now full time. It's certainly slowed down my posting as of late, but in turn it's let me focus up more on just what kind of stories I wanna write instead of just shot gunning a bunch of threads to see what sticks. Which isn't a bad thing to do, just, trying something different in how I get threads and the like. Similarly trying out different ways to write and being way more fluid on just what happens. Nothing needs to be consistent if it turns out to go against the fun, so rather than try to correct, just roll with what makes it more fun and adapt sort of thing.

So, feedback time. Hit me with it. This is specifically about Aris, but I'm all for getting more on any other character I write or just me as a writer. Post below, send me a message if you wanna do that, etc etc. I just enjoy feedback so gimme gimme.

2,000 posts for one character is a lot.

Do you feel like you have stories you still want to tell? That the character isn't getting stale to write? Curious to see how you keep interested as a writer in a singular character. I could never mostly focus on one character like that.

Goid question. I tend to take breaks and go to different characters when I feel like it's getting stale, then jump back in when I get an idea for the character.

Aris is one of many of my characters that's hit over 2k posts, so I'm not sure if that's an answer that makes sense or not.

2,000 posts for the character to be a Padawan is pretty wild. I think I ended Preliat a little under that, but that had been years and years of storytelling and the storyline more or less ended and had a successful arc.

Do you think it's time to advance Aris to get him to new stories and show his progress?

That's more along what I'm leaning towards now, yeah. There's a couple storylines I want to wrap up that'll lead into the advancing and show his progress so far.

Aris is intriguing.

He reminds me of something Wade Wilson before he became "Deadpool".

"I'm no hero"

Aris is a "bad guy who beats up worse guys" wrapped up in a good kid's body. He's an epitome of "F.A.F.O." who is always in time for dinner.

Always a fun read.
