Private Of Weavers and War

Lord Seer of Korriban & Professor of Kor’ethyr

A slew of guests were being welcomed to the Holy Worlds in preparation for whatever new conflict which loomed on the horizon. The Lord Seer had left Brosi in the care of a handful of trusted subordinates and was at the Palace making ready for that inevitable last push of activity before the Order would once again galvanize.

The woman was lost deep in thought, piecing together her preferred alchemical and sorcery components for the ritual to come, when something like chime caught her ears. She knew it was metaphysical in nature, a sign from the very Weave itself and not actually something she was literally hearing. Curiosity drew the woman from contemplation and she left her workstation in the King's private library to begin wandering the halls.

That beckoning chime grew louder, faintly directing her down and toward the entry hall of the Palace. After turning one last corner, a familiar stranger immediately stood out to the arboreal woman. She had the unmistakable air of one favored by the Weave and though she was not so formidable as some who'd appeared before her eyes, A'Mia could sense a quiet clever power to her that was intriguing.

The neti approached with a graceful glide, making it clear she was heading directly for Lina Ovmar Lina Ovmar with calm curiosity plain to read upon her face.

"Welcome to Korriban— You were present at the war council recently, were you not? I am A'Mia Madrona, Lord Seer on the Council of Vardin. What might I call you?"

She held back from an immediate line of questioning about the woman's expertise in the Force, despite her eagerness to discover what the Weave had brought them together for.

Lina's list seemed endless. If she was not joining the flurry in preparation for a war that had yet to manifest, she was preparing for a trip to the Netherworld, elbow deep in research and confirmation of the creature she sought. She still had a network to run, one that had been scattered by the Planeshift and then thrown into disarray by her unplanned absence, everyday she was receiving more and more contact with missing agents. And then, somewhere in the middle of all of it, she had to find time to reconnect. To regain footholds in courts she had begun to work herself into, to establish herself once more within the Order.

The easiest place of all, was here. Her connection with Revna gave her grace on Korriban that she might not have elsewhere. Her visit here was one of courtesy, to gain permission...or rather inform the King that she would be carving a doorway between worlds and taking his fiancé with her on a hunting trip in the Netherworld. She was surprisingly optimistic about the success of that conversation.

She was waiting in the entry hall when she felt it. An unmistakeable tug that made her reach to the amulet hidden beneath her robes. The last time she had felt something like that, it had pulled her from one plane to the next to land at Darth Strosius Darth Strosius feet. But it also, wasn't that. It was different, but it bore the same message. Follow me.

So she did, turning in the direction of the pull, she'd taken perhaps three steps before the Neti appeared in her line of vision, making a beeline straight for her. The tug became a quiet hum, like the contented purr of a cat. Lina tilted her head studying the graceful being as she approached. Her mouth curved into a small smile. "Lina Ovmar," she replied extending a gloved hand to shake "Lord of Nothing and Noone." she added with a wink "Yes, I was at the War Council, if one can call it that."
