The moon had no name. It was naught but a pale, pitted face scarred by time and silence, circling a dead world in the Metalorn system. It was a place forgotten by star charts, a place that nobody remembered. Yet something had been here, and was still here. Vahlika could feel it humming beneath the crust, coiled like a serpent under stone.

Their ship touched down in silence on a barren stretch of ashen rock, far from any known coordinates. Dust curled up in spirals around their boots as the ramp descended, settling into the unnatural stillness of the place.

Vahlika stepped out first, her image a jagged silhouette of charms, ash and iron. Her helmet gleamed faintly in the moonlight, runed and battle-worn. Bones clinked from her pauldrons, a braided length of silver-blue hair knotted over one shoulder, while the fierce curve of her beskar dagger hung at her side, a blade for rites and blood alike.

She knelt and pressed her palm into the powdery earth. The sensation came like a breath drawn through a grave. A collection of old power, but ill steps. Desecration.

"The thieves' trail ends here," she muttered, voice low and rough through the modulator.

She rose in a fluid motion, bones and charms whispering together. Her gaze lingered on her new companion — a fellow practitioner, if from another path entirely. A Jedi witch. A blade of order tempered by chaos. Not one Vahlika would have trusted easily, but the scent of her power had been undeniable, and she had come willingly.

"The spirits are eager," Vahlika said, matter-of-fact, as if it were the weather. "Let us make short work of this."

A request for help came by Dreidi's screen as she was checking out things that were going on within the Mandalorian Empire. She was spending some significant time on Dathomir so to Dreidi it made sense that she was aware of how things were going and as she formed connections within the Mandalorian Empire, Dreidi would be taking more missions. It also made sense to demonstrate that her and other witches were not here to just take from the resources that the Mandalorian leader had been generous in giving them. That as long as their home was safe, they were willing to assist their neighbours in fighting and sorting out missions.

Her gaze locked on the mission and Dreidi let out a sigh, accepting the job. "Come on Grisial. We are heading out to meet up with this Vahlika." Dreidi stated to her Vulptex as the crystal fox yawned and shook his fur.

Jumping aboard her ship, Dreidi tapped at the consoles and set a course for the moon with no name. "Fingers crossed that this mission is as simple as it comes across on the screen." As she said this, Grisial growled annoyed and tilted his head at her.

"I did not jinx it. You can't put that on me!" Dreidi protested, "anyway, declaring jinxes is an act of cultural appropriation and insensitive to real witches." Which was not Dreidi's actual opinion and both herself and Grisial knew that. Dreidi tapped some wood as she rolled her eyes at Grisial. "There." The crystal fox sniffed and huffed, clearly not that impressed with her.

Once she arrived on the moon, Dreidi looked to Grisial, "stay aboard. Might not be a breathable atmosphere." Dreidi mentioned as she grabbed an oxygen mask and pack. Making sure she donned it as the ramp dropped down. She was prepared to deal with whatever came her way, on her hip was the Lightsaber that symbolised her dedication as a Jedi but on the opposite hip was her Ichor sword and the bow strapped to her back were both Dathomiri in nature. She was not tied to one way of life.

Spotting the Mandalorian, Dreidi moved over to her and gave a short bow. Something to offer a quick amount of respect before they walked the path that this Mandalorian had discovered. Dreidi's eyes were looming over things, things that she was not quite fluent in. She had tracked prey when hunting before but this was different and there needed to be differing techniques.

"Sounds good to me, sister." Dreidi stated.
