Lacking an actual hangar bay, this also means the Obstruct lacks space for shuttles to come and go. This means that only through docking at a station or with another ship that also has a docking tue would allow passengers and crew to embark and disembark from the ship. Easy and cheap to make, the materials already being produced on Tantorus, the Obstruct features a balanced armament of close to medium range damage output, and limited long-range damaging capabilities. Typically, the ship is found lurking in the shadows of a much larger capital ship, supplementing the damage that that ship is producing rather than the standard escort, or picket ship which would be outfitted with even more defensive emplacements to better protect its larger cousins.
