She didn’t like Korriban. Last time she had gone here was to pick up a contract on a — at the time believed to be — notorious jedi master, and that contract had proven itself far too bothersome to really complete. Mainly on account of the fact that she had not been the only one to take on said bounty, a whole mercenary squad had as well and it had without a doubt made things harder than they needed to be. In the end she had to work with the Jedi to survive and out of ‘appreciation’ she had let him off the hook.
So here she was. Same cantina, same owner, same man handing out the contracts. The patrons weren’t any less shady than Sena herself already was. Bounty hunters in the employ of the Sith Order, or perhaps just the down-trodden of this world. In truth she did not care. Having heard that she in particular had been picked for a contract she gave the man handing her the dossier a suspicious look. Clients rarely had the option to pick their operators, but there were some known cases in which it happened. Last time Lassiter had been picked in particular she had been sent to burglarize a man with the help of a Sith associate.
It had been an attempt at recruiting but Lassiter had stated her unwillingness to join. The Sith were in decline, she had no reason to stick her neck out for them whatsoever. Her gut told her that she should have declined this contract as well, but it seemed like a simple deal. Just intimidate an acolyte and return to get paid.
Easy. Peasy.
Lassiter followed the directions and found herself at small town’s square. The man she had been instructed to hit was not around. She took a seat and ordered something to drink in the meantime. Something cold.
