[SIZE=8.5pt]Son of a very well respected explorer, Nyx was born and raise inside a ship. Always on the move, always going to places that often no one would dare go, [/SIZE][SIZE=8.5pt]“Curiosity is our greatest gift and greatest curse” [/SIZE][SIZE=8.5pt]his father would often say. In one of those expeditions to the unknown parts of the galaxy, the ship was attacked by a monster in a small planet. His father and mother died in the attack, a fate that Nyx would have shared if not for the help of the natives of the planet. They treated and cared for him until he was good enough to leave the planet in one of their ships. A experience that left him scarred for life, physically and mentally, but he would never forget the generosity of his saviors.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Initially, Nyx planned to follow his father footsteps, but he soon find out that he wanted something different for his life, at least for now, and that was when he joined the republic. His skills as a pilot and a great shooter catch the eyes of those in command, that quickly put those skills to use. Now, Nyx was a part of a special team that would often be assigned in infiltrate missions. Life was good, he was making money and had the respect of his superiors. But then in one of those missions he met and fall in love with a Sith Lord, with who he had a child. When the affair came out, Nyx was accused of being a traitor passing information for the enemy. Now, his life was in ruins, and he was forced to flee and hide like a rat. The mother of his child also suffered the consequences of the affair, but she was powerful enough to overcome them, but at the end she decide that it would be for the best if she disappeared of his life. And then, Nyx was alone with his daughter. He never told her that her mother is a Sith Lord that choose the Empire over them.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]Without money and unable to find work because of his tarnished reputation, Nyx found himself more and more involved with the crime, doing every kind of job that he could catch to keep his daughter feed and safe. Although his speciality was smuggler, he would often work as a mercenary for hire and bounty hunter.[/SIZE]
[SIZE=8.5pt]His Daughter, Sera Alkan, grow up in this scenario, and only the love of his father has kept her from become a ruthless criminal. She work with him on his ship and gets a share of all his jobs and dealings, she is also very strong with the force, the only gift of her mother.[/SIZE]
