Weaknesses:
  • Winter Weather: The tree thrives in the cold, when transplanted away from temperatures above zero degrees it will stop growing at first and then slowly dry.
Kindling: While it is special among the Yama of Shikoku the Nure tree is regarded as something ancient and evil.. twisted and from a time long forgotten... better left forgotten. The tree is often chopped down and burned when encountered by most all of Atrisia.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The ancient lands of Shikoku are often regarded in Atrisian legends. From its arcane sorceries and mysticism to its eugenics and wanting a racial purit that would have seen much of the population killed off so only the most pure would survive. Those hallowed halls of the once ancient cities whisper of power forgotten and the Diamond Crown Emperors crusade against the shadow priests of the temples still echo in some memories. The tree however were regarded as a symbol of that corruption as it was believed nothing should be able to grow that far north... that nothing wold have been able to survive naturally so deemed unnatural by divine mandate the trees were called to be chopped down anywhere they could be found. The great library that had stolen texts from across the world and copied it painstakingly so that knowledge would be forever retained before destroying the original copies to deprive the victims of retrieving it. The ancient Atrisian texts were later stolen or burned being taken to the library at Jar'kai as the last dynasty of the Yama perished beneath an avalanche several thousand years ago. The trees were believed to be the only thing that remained of them and some botanists discovered the recipe for the Atrisian red tea... a stranger brew that stains the teeth and gums with a crimson visage.
