He accepted the commando mantle by choice, and that quiet act of willpower defines him: he is unflinching, because he walked willingly into the void.

COMBAT INFORMATION

  • Weapon of Choice: LO-20D Commando Rifle with modular suppressor; LO-22S sidearm. combat knife
  • Combat Function:
    • Role: Jedi/Sith killer. Moves unseen in the Force, immune to precognition and influence.
    • Method: Works within a five-man team to strike Force-sensitives where they least expect it. Silent insertion, sudden eruption of violence, and immediate extraction.
    • Style: Close-in hunter. Where Force-users anticipate blaster fire or Force ripples, Null-7 strikes with steel, shock, and explosives.
  • Force Abilities: None. Null-7 is Force-dead; no connection remains.

Strengths

  • Invisible in the Force: Cannot be sensed, anticipated, or manipulated by Force abilities. Force precognition fails against him, allowing ambushes and feints to land where others would be parried.
  • Unbreakable Resolve: By choosing to undergo siphoning, Null-7 has already endured the erasure of his very self. Torture, intimidation, or mind games hold little power over him; he operates with absolute clarity of mission.
  • Counter-Force Specialist: Extensively trained against Jedi/Sith techniques — feints that exploit lightsaber recovery frames, blinding flash detonators, null-field combat maneuvers, and team tactics specifically designed to overwhelm Force-users.
  • Adaptive Operative: His training emphasizes operating without support. Can improvise demolitions, sabotage, and stealth paths with minimal tools.
  • Chosen Void: Null-7 willingly embraced severance. His immunity to Force sense, manipulation, and aura effects is complete.
  • Elite Conditioning: Black-ops training (Silent Blades, Hidden Flames) honed him for infiltration, sabotage, and dueling against Force-users.

Weaknesses

  • Medical Dependency: Cannot benefit from Force healing or augmentation; relies entirely on conventional medicine.
  • Hollowed Identity: Severance left him emotionally muted. In high-stress situations, his psyche can fracture into dissociation or mechanical brutality.
  • Irreversible Transformation: Once made Force-dead, there's no going back. If they regret the choice or crack under the strain, there is no cure—only replacement.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Cinder was born in the Mid Rim territories eventually brought under the Orders influence. Like many Lilaste Order soldiers, his early life was spent in the service of routine infantry campaigns, where his discipline and ability to endure hardship quickly marked him for consideration. His record showed not only survival under duress, but a consistent tendency to carry others through situations where lesser soldiers faltered.

When the Commando Program was first announced, Cinder was one of the hand-picked candidates offered entry. The choice was his alone; he could have refused and remained in the line corps. Instead, he accepted, knowing the cost would be anonymity and a lifetime of dangerous assignments.

Training reshaped him from soldier to shadow. He endured the full regimen of the Silent Blades, Hidden Flames manual Legacy Trials, forced deprivation, live-blade sparring, and survival gauntlets across brutal climates. Unlike many candidates, he adapted to the force-severance regimen without breaking, allowing him to emerge from Kiev'ara's nexus scarred but hardened. From then on, he was one of the Order's first true Force-dead commandos, his very nature making him resistant to manipulation, intimidation, or sensing.

Cinder's operational career was spent within and around Diarchy-controlled space. He participated in deep-strike raids on pirate fortresses, the quiet dismantling of smuggling cartels along trade routes, and precision strikes against separatist militias who threatened regional stability. His expertise lay in infiltration and sabotage cutting power grids, disabling communication arrays, or planting disruption mines that could unravel an enemy's defenses without a single shot fired.

Among his peers, he gained a reputation for a steady, almost unnerving calm. Where others reacted with aggression or urgency, Cinder approached every task with measured silence and absolute precision. His call sign became a whispered reassurance among comrades: if Cinder was in the shadows, the job would be done.

Though his official record was wiped clean for deniability, his legacy within the Commando Corps remains. Recruits are still taught of the early "void operatives" like Cinder soldiers who willingly traded away the Force's presence to become invisible blades in the dark, operating beyond recognition, beyond praise, and often beyond return.
