SPECIAL FEATURES

• Quantum Logic Architecture - Each computer is linked to a central processing hub via a Quantum Logic Circuit, this enables information to be shared reliably and instantaneously.
• Augmented Reality - Starships, Platforms, Weapon Systems, and Vehicles compatible with this technology can have information fed to them via their HUD. This can range from tactical information, localised battle maps, friendly and last known hostile positional data, biometrics, and so on.
• QAI - The Battlenet combines the power of Artificial Intelligence and Quantum technologies to further enhance data processing and dissemination. Known primarily as QAI, it is geared towards Battlefield Control, developing new tactics and strategies and providing individual squadrons or units battlefield information via their HUD. Key examples might be sharing intelligence on a new enemy weapon, and possible weaknesses or strategies to counter it. Equally, QAI can, with the permission of Commanders utilise strategic assets to support space or planetary forces.
• Droid Control - The Battlenet can be programmed to command autonomous elements of an army or starship usually resulting in improved efficiencies.
• Blackwall Protocols - The Battlenet is an isolated network requiring direct access to splice, it cannot be accessed via the Holonet due to utilising the Quantum network. If an infiltration attempt is detected, QAI's response is to destroy the Quantum Logic Circuit severing its connection.

STRENGTHS

• Machine Learning - If given command of autonomous assets such as Droids or Turrets QAI will adapt to its environment and enemies' strategies. This doesn't come without its disadvantages, however (see weaknesses).
• Quantum Technologies - The Battlenet is innately resistant to jamming or counter intelligence operations that target radio or holonet. EM based inteference remains effective.
• Coordinator - The Battlenet enables greater coordination between units. For example, a Gunship may easily identify friendlies in a building preventing the risk of friendly fire.
• Isolated Network - Access to the network requires direct access to a QAI node, making it impossible to remotely splice hardware.
• War Mind - QAI given the freedom to do so may automously react to threats or deploy strategic assets such as Capital Ships.

WEAKNESSES

• EM Fields - EM Fields inteference reduces the effectiveness of data transference and will hinder Battlenet core capabilities.
• Rubbish in, Rubbish out - It's possible to manipulate information as to reduce any strategic or tactical advantage the Battlenet may provide. For example, using decoys may falsely report enemy positions or predicted firing arcs.
• Node - If QAI nodes are damaged or destroyed Battlenet functionality will greatly decrease.
