Fairly simple, the weapon is a Sith Sword that has been made to specialize in refining, focusing, and amplifying the weilder's abilities with Pyrokinesis and Fire-Shaping, though it effects Dark Side abilities to a lesser degree. As such the weapon is always warm to the touch, be it in the tundra's of Hoth, or the oceans of Dac, the blade is warm, almost too hot to hold with a bare hand. It battle, as the blade strikes a surface, flames erupt from the blade, and a flash of heat sears the object that was struck. The more powerful the blow, the hotter the reaction.
Furthermore, by channeling the Force through the weapon flames can be conjured around it, enveloping the blade of the weapon. This can be a great benefit in combat, allowing the flames to catch an opponent's clothes on fire, and it can serve at the spark with which to summon fire to be manipulated and shaped through the Force.
The blade itself was made originally from Terenthium, that has been altered alchemically through the Force, and folded many, many times. The resulting weapon is Lightsaber resistant, can block blaster bolts, and is nearly indestructible like most Sith Swords. The weapon was made using Stardust's blood, so while other's can use it, it feels more natural, more like an extension of her being.

- Burning Brand: The Blade is attuned to Fire. It not only enhances the user's ability with Pyrokinesis, but it also can be ignited with concentration, much like how someone would use a Force Weapon. This can cause things struck by the blade to catch fire.
- Incinerate: Things the blade strikes are heated, a lot, sometimes even gouging metal and leaving scorch marks similar to a lightsaber with a strong enough direct strike.
- Dark Side Amplification: Much like normal Sith Swords this weapon serves as a Focus for the weilder and amplifies their power and refines their control.
