Corusant; The Underworld

A rotting place where scum and other scoundrels of the Galaxy come and scheme. The beautiful scenery of Corusant tried to hide what dwelled underneath the magnificent skyscrapers. The Underworld was something the whole Galaxy knew about despite how popular and prosperous Corusant was. Nevertheless, people from all corners of the universe came to the capital of the One Sith to benefit for themselves. While the Sith reigned over Corusant and other Inner Core worlds nothing changed drastically except politics and orders. The economy wasn't in danger like some patriotic Republicans said to their comrades and outsiders. It continued to operate as usual and was similar when the Republic held its capital on this strategic planet. The citizens didn't live in fear due to the presence of the Sith. They respected its authority and paid its dues, but they never were slaves to the Sith Order. And just like normal society operated in the skyscrapers of Corusant with no change, so did the criminals of the Underworld.

But what was a man like Corrick doing here in the Underworld of Corusant? He had no goal or destination in life except for a lust of power. His mind sought for it as well as improving his connection with the mythical Force knowing he could use it as a tool for his own advantage and instill fear into others. With fear he could grasp power with ease. And what better way than using that against criminals who would heed his call and acknowledge him as a reckoning force.

Here in the Underworld he walked down a street that was littered with beggars, thieves, drunks, and other scum that people thought the Underworld hosted to. Yet Corrick didn't judge them, since he too was a scum of the Galaxy. He robbed to survive even if it meant taking a life which didn't bother him at all. What he went through years ago in the Graug slave pits was nothing when being killed. Corrick didn't pay any attention to his surroundings and continued walking through the street with his eyes scanning the area until he could find a gang or a syndicate that he could join.

Coruscant: Pearl, Center of the Galaxy, beautiful, enigmatic, dangerous and filthy.

It was all of these things at the same time and yet… it did not fully compensate the experience of Coruscant, you couldn’t really put it in words, you had to experience it to really realize what it meant. [member="Corrik Rade"] was not an unknown quality to the Exchange, in fact… his movements were being tracked for quite some time now - the Underlord believed in recruiting potential early on, it inspired a certain sense of loyalty.

A man appeared at Rade’s side, older. Tall. A cigarette was perching lazily from his lips. Rough stubbles. A trenchcoat with a faded white shirt behind it and an equally faded red tie trailing behind him.

“Rade.” Khal greeted him. His eyes were on a little datapad in his hands.

“I hear you were looking for work. Still interested?”

A man suddenly appeared at his side which almost made him to attack him. You could trust anyone in this realm of Corusant, not you could let down your guard. Survival of the fittest was the thing everyone worried about in the Underwold; adapt or perish through any means. So far, both men were neural to one another, but that could change in the blink of an eye.

"How do you know my name?"

It was odd when someone you didn't know knew your name. Maybe he was a shadow of his past.

"And what type of job we are talking about? What gain will I earn?" He always wanted his own advantage and benefit. He didn't care about those around and only used them for his own liking. He was very selfish and self absorbed making him an isolated island to the rest of the Galaxy.
