Private Not So Different

Some New Imperial Blacksite Prison
There was a new prisoner different from most as this was a Jedi. Captured by Bounty Hunters on Ringo Vinda as the Empire was rooting out any elements of dissidence, expanding further and annexing Ringo Vinda’s industrial capabilities to improve their manufacturing of vessels.

The Empire adopted an iconoclastic doctrine against the Sith, Jedi, and other dogmas that were a risk to national security. Even Imperial Knights were often looked with suspicious in systems with Tarkinist ideals and other extreme Imperial political values.

What would happen with the Trandoshan Jedi? There were different fates that await him. Execution; forced labor; solitary imprisonment; experimented and so on and so forth. Perhaps he could renounce the Jedi Code and pledge an oath to the Empire, the only best outcome should he choose it. Much like Simon when he renounced the ways of the Jedi, and found something more purposeful within the Empire and its Imperial Knights.

Arriving at the designated cell block, the Imperial Knight entered alone with two guards waiting outside. The Trandoshan had free range of mobility, only having a collar on his neck to shock him in case he would attempt to use the Force.

“I hope you’ve been treated well,” he said, friendly but rough due to his age and long life of combat. “And do not worry, we won’t harm you. We’re not the Sith as most people paint us out to be,” there had been propaganda comparing the authoritative states of the Empire and the late Sith Empire, the latter defeated by the former and its allies. “I’m hoping we can come to some common ground, I believe you and I have some things in common.”
